Has anyone here heard of a pill called Opem? I bought two from a friend this past weekend and crushed one up and snorted it. After about ten minutes my nostril and throat started burning like crazy, and now today at track practice i was coughing and tasting blood and I felt extremely lightheaded. I know it was extremely stupid to do the pill without knowing much about it, but can anyone help me figure out what it was and what the fuck is going on. I can try and get a picture up of the second pill if itll help.
Always do a little research before you take something. What size, color and shape is the pill? What is imprinted on it (both sides). With that info, it'll be much easier to tell you what you have.
Its bright pink,a few centimeters long and is shaped like a rectangle with rounded edges. On one side are the numbers '1772' (they were different numbers on the one i took, dont remember them though) and on the other side is a captial M with a little box around it.
search pill identifier on your favorite search engine go to the drugs.com link...it will probably be the first one. say i agree, then put in some info on the pill, most of the time only the numbers are enough you will now know what pill you snorted, then you can search button the pill for its effects and such
Well, who knows what the hell the first pill was since you cannot remember what numbers were on it. However, the pink pill you described is most likely this: http://www.drugs.com/imprints.php?action=search&imprint=1772+M&color=8&shape= That pill contains 100mg of propoxyphene and 650mg of acetaminophen. Don't snort it. The brand name for propoxyphene is Darvon. If you're interested, go to erowid or search around the internet. It's a really weak pain killer, and I doubt you going to get much out of taking it. If you do take it, just swallow it.
The first pill was the same exact thing, only with different numbers. Or at least I'm pretty sure the numbers were different. Either way, thanks for your help.
