Raves/electronic dance things in New England?

Does anybody know of any going on that are not 21+? My friends and I want a chill place to dance and roll before in the next week or two and I can't find a damn thing that looks decent and isn't 21+. Ravelinks hasn't proven very useful, maybe because there are none to find. I'm in Lowell, MA, so I'd prefer something under 3 hours away. Providence RI seems like a pretty good spot but I don't know a thing about the area.

I don't want to spend the money to go to NYC but that seems to be where everything is; I can't bring myself to do that again after the disappointment of Candy Ball. Just not worth the effort if the event isn't great.

Looking for rave atmosphere, not dress code clubs (damn you, Skyplex). Any help would be greeeatly appreciated.

hell ya, I'm so excited about this party, everyone in the area seems to know about it. We should wear little name tags so we know we are the hip forum Illuminati.

 

I think I will be wearing a white shirt for blacklight purposes and my jeans with the american flag patch on the lower right leg (by the foot) I also have long hair which may or may not be under a hat or in a pony tail.

Just be all like, "Hey hippie!" and Ill understand

 

Alright, I'll keep my eyes open for the flag, the glow and long hair. I WILL find you, probably underneath a black light : P

BTW we no longer have Louie Vaton double stacks but molly... beautifully packaged in individual capsules.

Have you been to any other raves recently? I'm pretty new to the scene, I've been to a few small ones in North Hampton, Candy Ball on Halloween (sucked) and a UNH rave called Euphoria that was sick. It was really cool because I saw a bunch of the same people at UNH that I'd met at CB so I'm looking forward to (potentially) seeing some of them again. I'll probably be seeing you at future raves too being in the same area

Nah, I wasn't selling anything but so many people asked me if I was. Is your name Rob? If so I kinda rudely blew you off to get my back scratched upstairs figuring you were the hundredth person coming to ask me for rolls. So many people were just like "oh yeah I figured I'd ask the dude in the gas mask" that it actually got annoying LOL. The unforeseen consequences of a mask.

I spent most of my time on the third floor - it was wicked chill up there and there were tons of us just ripping butts at the end because it was too cold to go outside at that point. Tons of kids putting on sick light shows, one girl doing some sexy dances with a hoola-hoop. I was rolling so hard at one point that I had to sit for probably an hour and one guy gave me the absolute coolest light show - he had two red glowing balls, small, in each hand and he'd be eat one, pull it out of somebodys ear, roll them down along his arm, play catch with them yada yada IDK I'm describing it preeeetty poorly since its nearly 3 and I was too fucked up then to recall it well sober but it was pretty much the sickest light show/magic trick stuff I've ever seen at a rave. He was a chill guy too.

I locked my keys AND MY HAT in the car that night - my friend and I spent about 3 hours inside of some freezing cold bank before we found an open towing company to break us in but once we left there to find out where my cars was parked it was just too cold to walk there. We only managed to get across the street before we gave up on walking there, took shelter in a HEATED!!!! Bancnorth and got picked up right there. Thank god the security guards let us stay in there while we waited for the towing guys or we would've been so fucked - one of them even told us what intersection we were at so we could direct the towing guy to where we were.

Great night overall. Definitely gotta see you at some future raves but for real this time lol
