so on many of the videos i've watched about getting dreads, it says for the first couple of months you need to extend the time between washings to about every 3 days or so. for me though, i only wash my hair about once a week as it is because it's SO dry. even after a week it doesn't look or feel oily. so.... should i try and wash it more often when i get them put in? or less often? about the same? thanks :)

You're in the wrong bit of the forum, there's a bit dedicated to dreads under 'crafts'. But any how, just keep washing the way you do now.
