Video: Was America Ever a White Nation? In his groundbreaking new documentary; A Conversation About Race, filmmaker Craig Bodeker redefines the conventional wisdom on Race and Racism Americans are being slandered as “RACISTS” more than ever before! Yet I don’t know of ANY nation that has done more for it’s “minorities” than the USA has. There’s no other nation on Earth that has created so many “minority” millionaires, yet so many of these “minorities” still hate America for her “racism?” We hear that “White European Culture” is overpowering and dominant. We hear that we need exclusively African American, Hispanic, and even Asian TV networks just to offset the “oppressive influences” of white culture! But have you turned on a TV lately? Just how much “White Culture” is featured in American Broadcasting today? There’s rarely any program or ad that doesn’t feature at the least, an EVEN distribution of races or ethnic groups, even though two out of every three Americans are white! This is just one of the many “disconnects” I see in my daily life on matters of race. A Conversation About Race is just the starting point. Watch the film, and then have your own conversation about race. You’ll be surprised at what you discover! spam
I discovered that you're a racist! I wasn't that surprised though. Can you please go elsewhere with your hatred?
any time someone's entire energy is geared towards the plight of the white man, you can be pretty sure that, even if they're acting polite, they're burning legions of black people, gypsies and jews in their mind.
Oh, of course! This is just a long version of the old "I'm not racist but..." that always precedes someone saying something racist.
yeah, they're just getting more training. EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE is racist. deal with it, whitey.
Well, I mean, except for me of course. I'm not racist at all. You can tell because I own several hip-hop albums and enjoy watching Dave Chappelle.
oh, well, you might be okay. are some of your best friends black? asian? latino? it doesn't count unless they are. i have an automatic in: my neighbors are half black/latino and half black/white. their friends are latino and white. it's like the UN over there. i just have to show up and drink beer.
Oh yeah! Some of my best friends are either Asian or gay, both of which are almost the same as black. Pretty impressive, huh? Your neighbors sound awesome. I love mixed-race people; they're so much more efficient. I have one friend who proves I'm not racist toward Mexicans or blacks, both at the same time! She's great.
sweet victory. though on a slightly more serious note, things seem to be a lot more racially polarized than when i was little. probably because white people are feeling more threatened by minorities than ever before. when i was little we lived in a heavily multiracial neighborhood. everyone hung out together, it was all cool. it just doesn't seem that way anymore.
I actually feel the same way...but I'm not sure if that's just because I grew up in a ridiculously liberal, multicultural college town. Now I live in a city (and one known for its racism, too), and I might just be more exposed to it. But still, it does feel a little like you have a point. If this black guy would stop standing behind me holding a gun, that would probably help.
It sounds like your comparing your multicultural "friends" as if you were trading baseball cards. Just sounds kind of strange to me.iggy::grouphug:iggy:
aren't they the same? i'll trade one mixed latino/irish girl for an asian. i don't have any of those right now. but no filipinos, my mom's hated them since my brother married and divorced one, and i want presents for christmas.
