Today I honked at somebody for the first time ever. He was in the far right lane behind a bus, and decided to pull out in front of me with no signal, no nothing. I wanted to punch him, but instead punched the center of my steering wheel, et voila!
Everyone who drivers slower than you is an idiot and everyone who drives faster than you is a maniac.. Car-owners..
I always tell my friends here to hunk at people who are fucking up, but they never do it. The horn is there for a reason. Damn you Americans.
I've only been driving (legally) for about four or five months. Usually my reflexes when somebody does something stupid are sort of attached to my middle finger or my mouth. By the time I think about honking, the moment has generally passed. But not this time! I felt empowered.
I began to drive because my new job has no bus service that goes anyplace near it. Also waiting for any bus/rail sucks in the snow. I'm kind of a pansy.
I'm afraid my Dad's gonna bug me to get a license until I'm so sick of fucking hear it, I do it. I can't really stand cars, though..
I always beep at people. I love beeping for an obnoxiously long period of time too. I just beeped at this couple (about 5minutes ago) who were walking in the middle of the street when it was pitch black out. I mainly beeped because I almost hit them. idiots
Ha.. I have to wait for bus in the snow a few times a day every day I go to school.. I'd like to drive too, but we just can't afford a new car.. (or an older car, any car).. Well at least I don't get into troubles like that.
I'm thinking the honking may begin to happen more often now. I live in the suburbs, so about every other car on the road is a woman juggling three babies and a cell phone and a lipstick tube and trying to drive at the same time.
right on. when the weather is nice, I like to blast unexpected music. Mahler 3 works particularly well for this purpose. fuuunia -- that suckss. I am not a cold-climate type person so that sounds just miserable. my car was free, though, it was my grandma's old car, otherwise my parents would either be schlepping me on occasion or they'd be having me walk.
I honk about once a week on average yesterday i was just in front of my place when some guy ran the stop sign completely, then did a wave I still honked
I live in a town rated the worst to drive in America, atleast I have been told that by lots of people. People don't seem to know what a signal is and that red means stop, not speed through the light. Tiffany
signal means your giving away your next move to the person behind you, which gives them plenty of time to get in front of you fuck that. i don't use signals
