I don't dig Avril either, but it could have been worse. He could have said Brittany rocks. My daughter got into Brittany for awhile, and I thought I'd hang myself if she kept torturing me that shit. Thank goodness she got over that phase quick. She's into Avril now, and that I can at least TOLERATE. (for about five minutes until it gets switched back over to classic rock..I am determined to cross her over one day..)

 

I remember when every one went through an Avril Rocks stage, you would see girls walking round the mall wearing ties and cropped jeans and chains and sweat bands! it made me laugh! Thank god its over!

Actually, I find Britney Spears to be much more tolerable than Avril. However, they both suck.

lol avril was alright like 3 years ago...i think if you like female artists you should check out Janis Joplin....the all-time best female artist....she ROCKS!!

 

I dont even listen to enough popular music (or take any interest in conteporary pop culture) to form an opinion. Though from what I heard (years ago) I didnt like the music and found her very pretentious.
