Anyone a fan of German metal bands?

Ever since I was 12 or so, I've loved bands like Rammstein and more recently Bands like In Extremo and Finnish metal band Ruoska. Anyone else love bands like these? Or have suggestions for new bands I should listen to?

I like a German band called Thrudvangar

and Falkenbach is German too, he's one of my favourites

Darkestrah are good, they're originally from Kyrgyzstan but now live in Germany.. that sort of counts..

I think Odroerir are German as well

..so yes, I like German metal bands

 

Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian

 

I like the folkish stuff of In Extremo. Can't stand Rammstein myself and later In extremo neither. I'm more into metal like Falkenbach as well, and when I was about 15 or so I was heavily in bands like Gamma ray and Blind Guardian

I recommend Subway to sally. More folkish metal like In Extremo: Schandmaul and Corvus Corax.

 

Rammstein, Oomph, Callejon are great... And Tokio Hotel sucks ass... Big time...

 

KMFDM is one of my favorite bands, I think there from Germany.

 

Really like German bands specially if its rock music like Rammstein and Samsas Traum. Rock bands from finland are really good too like H.I.M eventho i have only heard them sing in English

From Germany, I like Blood, Destruction and Torture.

 

Ever hear of an old school metal band with a kick ass female singer called...
Warlock? They rocked the 80's and then she went solo and continued on as Doro. She's still around and still looking good.

 

Yeah haha, Doro's pretty cool! Saw her live at Wacken, old school heavy metal :cheers2:

 

All their stuff is classic, she's a true kick ass metal head, and cute as heck too... even today. Check out her video doing the remix of White Wedding on You Tube, under Doro.

 

David Hasselhoff is supposed to be huge in germany.

 

He's not metal, and you couldn't pay me to watch him, unless he's on TV starring in Night Rider.

But if you like it, that's cool...not for me though.

 

I remember Warlock, but I go back even further to the 70's with Jane, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream,Nektar, Eloy, etc. Oh, and dont forget the Scorpions.

 

Hell yeah I remember them!!! they had a great song called "all we are"

 

Yeah, I still listen to Scorpions, that was the other band I was trying to remember, I also remember Kraftwerk by name, not any songs, Tangerine Dream, but the only thing I like from them is the soundtrack to the movie "Legend".
Being a fan of the70's, you might recall a band that created something called Space Rock... Hawkwind, don't know where they're from, but had some good tunes.

 

It was alright, but she should've did the typical Idol scream from his version of the song...she has the vocals for it.
Anyway, she still looks good in the video... not bad for getting up there in years.
