Boyfriend complications

I work with my boyfriend and it's against store policy to date a coworker. In the very beginning we told a few people, but we're trying to keep it on the down low so we're keeping our mouths shut now. I told too many people though. My big ass mouth told 5 people, some or one of which has been running their mouth so now other people know. It's only a matter of time before management catches on and I hope to God we don't get fired.

 

ugh. in the future, dont make the same mistake.

either go to the management and be honest and ask to be transferred to another store (if there are other locations in the area)

or one of you quit and get a new job so its not an issue

^^ That sounds like a bad idea to me. If they find out, I'm sure the store director won't fire me without talking to me about it first and I could straight up ask him not to fire my boyfriend. I've been friends with him for two and a half years so I might have a little sway.

 

How would it benefit me to tell them? I highly doubt they'd say 'well by all means, go right ahead and break store policy and we'll turn a blind eye.'

^^ I agree it's wrong, though I can see why they might need such a policy. Who I fuck is my business, and we don't cause trouble so it'd be nice if we could just be left alone.

They would never fire you on the spot. They could a) accept the situation or b) allow you the chance to change the situation before any firing was to be done :tongue:

 

i had this problem but when they higherd me and my boyfriend they knew we were together. then it became a problem with other couples because they would go into the walk in fridge and make out or uhm.... other things. so when they fired ppl everyone looked at me and my boyfrien and were like it's not fair they can stay. even tho we weren't doing anything. and i had a second job at the time. so i just quit. but i think it's lame the situation they've put you in. LAME FACES
