But that problem of the Jews was rectified in generations. That's not awful; the true worship in turn was the worship of "Action speaking louder than words." It's like, I don't know. The whole thing was that the future generations make our actions anyhow unimportant as much as we wish then to be more important than the performance of creating future generations. Of course now that is the scariest thing of all for the preferance on not counting on our off-spring.
Reaching a bit to defend your celebrating Christmas aren't you? Isn't it quite a stretch to compare your celebrating Christmas, filled with ideas borrowed from false worship and used in your worship and my use of the internet, not borrowed from false worship and not used in my worship? The only commonality I can see is that neither one was mentioned in the Bible and that does not necessarily condemn the thing. It is necessary to see what the principles of the Bible say on the matter. Whereas the principles of the Bible are quite clear on using things borrowed from false worship as part of true worship, the Bible principles on whether we should use the internet are not as clear cut and thus such use would be a matter of conscience.
is this another religeous war???? it's enough to turn anyone atheist!!!! Xmas is a bout presents and friends, etc etc. being nice to your neighbours, except the one who borrowed your mower last summer and has still got it. Xmas is a bout stuffing your turkey, stuffing your wife, ( husband, boyfriend etc etc) It's about eating too much, and then puking on the floor. It's about drinking too much, and puking on someone elses floor. It's just great!!!arty:
That "problem of the Jews" was not rectified in generations, it was rectified by God taking true worship out of the hands of the Jews and giving it to those who would respect that privilege but we see that today, some of those that were given that privilege are following the paths of the Jews in bringing in false worship to contaminate the Truth. Jesus himself said that many would say that they were his followers but he would say to some get away from me you workers of lawlessness.
