i was once told that my ideal man would be a cancer but the only cancerian i have ever come across is my close friends son...who at 24 to my 41 is a wee bit young for me...lol don't wish to be a mrs robinson type!! anyway would be interesting to at least speak to a cancer man...don't worry i'm not in the market for a husband...been there & done that...it didn't take...neither time!! i was told that cancer men are the only sign moodier than me/pisces woman... cheek!! but is this true?? it feels like it maybe...
There are a multitude of things that you must take into consideration. I for one, am a cancer (21 y/o), Im not too moody, nor do I really say anything about it because, hey, regardless of sign, who wants to hear someone whine about their mood swings?? But in all actuality, I have a lot of different signs that pull me a way from the cancer persona, like My ascendant is Leo, Moon in capricorn, Mars in Leo....but I have mercury and venus in cancer...so as you can imagine Im all over the board! But yeah...us cancers arent that bad, we're warm and welcoming, nice, charming, compassionate.....and a lot of us are good looking if I do say so myself hope this helps.. cheers.

i have a degree in psychology & to me sun signs are kind of like personality traits in psychology...they might not be the whole of a person but they give a good indication of a persons character. so when ppl start saying well my ascendant is this...my moon in this blah blah blah...(no offence to you ryan & thanks for your reply btw!!) i just think far from giving you more info it just waters down the whole premise of it for me...i mean you may aswell say i have a little something from each sign in me?? & now while that may that be the case it ends up really telling you nothing very specific. i am a pisces & a very typcal one i might add...so that tells others & myself a lot about me.

come on, lets to not muck up the astrology forum with stupid bickering. i'm a 19y/o cancer male and i'm fairly sensitive/moody. i'm an artist and i hear cancers are good creators because we're very in touch with out feelings and spirituality. one thing might be a cancerian trait is that I can easily disconnect with someone if i sense they are playing a game with me. i'm a street smart, loner and you can't pull a fast one on me.
haha, no worries, you are right about the sun signs though.. I agree with mmg that we are able to fall fast, but we are able to fall out just as fast.
i'm a total worry wort, especially over money, which spills over into how much food is stocked in the pantry and how much fuel is in my car. depsite assumptions about my sun sign, i don't overeat (i overdrink, such a worrier, you know) but i MUST MUST MUST have loads of food in my pantry to feel okay about everything else. otherwise i flutter around the kitchen worrying about what i'm going to make my kids for lunch.
ok i will play nice...but he started it & he couldn't help sticking his oar in on two other posts of mine on here too...even as i type this i am aware that i sound like a petulant teen while replying to a 19 yrd old...lol not so strange really as i often get eye rolling from my 20 yr old son...hes saffy to my edina apparently according to a close friend...whatever... seriously hes far more grown up than i will ever be (hes aries)...so i must have done something right...except no i can't take credit hes always been a good kid. tbh i think we come into this world with our character firmly in place. i believe nature not nurture wins out everytime. as i have an electic take on things i think its formed pre-birth from several factors. though circumstances & childhood can shape it to a certain degree i don't think we ever move very far from set points. whether its pre-destined by our past lives/star sign or the family & situation we choose to be born into (read that somewhere yrs ago that as spirits we choose our family!!?). though god only knows why i chose my family...all geminis...both parents & 2 sisters. i always felt like they did not get me at all nor me them...they still don't probably but i wouldn't know as stopped contact with then yrs ago. if something makes you more sad than happy then walk away...lifes too short. though my 2 sisters don't speak to each other either & they're both geminis so guess our upbringing may have messed us all up a little too. i wish i could be like dave pelzar who was able to forgive his mothers abuse...but hes obviously a far bigger person than i am... anyway as this is my thread & it was started in the spirit of fun, love & laughter...can i bar him??? i'm kidding no really i am...honest...lol its not so much a disrespect for astrology like he/she thinks i have but that i have a healthy irreverence for most things...may be its a piscean thing?? of course he will jump all over that blah blah blah... i do believe we go through the zodiac signs as we evolve through our lifetimes & i do believe that if thats the case i will fail miserably at being a pisces as i let ppl rile me too much...instead of rising above it all like the 'middle way' approach in buddhism that i soooo aspire to...the not giving into extremes in behaviour or emotion....but just can't seem to manage!! anyway peace, love & light & all that...even to whatisface... how off topic is this???????!! well its my thread & i'll ramble if i want to!! lol one more thing...as don't think i'll be visiting this thread again after all what i've written here... richard bach in 'illusions' says... Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof. so thank goodness even though linked to my family by genes & ancestral history (btw i get on great with aunts & uncles on both sides...but due to being the blacksheep don't see them very often) i can make my own family as i choose as we all can!! my oldest & dearest friend is a scorpio & we have always just got each other though we are not the same personality wise maybe our shared water sign connection has something to do with it...
