    I'm 24 too!!

Ahem. I used to camp out in my backyard in the summer quite a bit. I just wanted to pretend that I was on holiday and get away from everyone in the house.

Tell me, what happens if you get attacked by a kangaroo in the night? GAME OVAH!

Jeez, do what you want. I don't think it's a big deal. Sounds like a good idea to me.

    Also, your house sounds grooooooss.

Kangaroos are herbivores and I am not a plant so I don't know why it would attack me. Nah, they're very placid animals but they can seriously kick butt if they need to. I just let them roam around my tent and ride one to work in the morning ....

You really should stop acting like a child and grow up

I went through that tent-in-the-backyard phase when I was 10 years old and outgrew it by the age of 12. If the house smells then hunt down the source of the odor and stop acting like a spoiled little brat - shit man you're 24 :(

What's the big deal if he wants to hang outdoors for a couple nights. Hell, I'd do it here if it wasn't in the low 40's at night.

why do you have to stop being a kid when you have the extra time to do whatever you want? being a kid when you were a kid was never really lived to the fullest. you always wanted to grow up and be older. everyone was rushed when they were a kid. its nice to enjoy your inner kid every once in a while

Sorry, by the time I was 24 I already had 4 years in the air force and 2 years of college already behind me, and I didn't spend my nights in a tent in my parents backyard

Why not do it, its no big deal and it sounds fun.

I have done all sorts of wacky things since growing up and graduating college at a younger age than hotwater, and I still have more in store

    I Did..

And If I Had A Decent Tent, Instead Of The Mouldy One I Have Had

Stored For Umpteen Dozen Years, I Would Do It Tonight.[IMG]

I Am Many..Many..Many..Years Older Than You..:(

And Let Me Tell You,One Of The Most Important Things A Man Must Hang On To In His Life..

Is The "Boy Inside The Man"..:)

Once "That Boy" Is Cast Aside..

The Man Becomes A, Set In His Ways, Inflexable, Boring Old Fart..

    REGARDLESS OF HIS AGE..

Are you comparing a nightly pickup game of basketball with good friends, to sleeping in the backyard of my parents’ home in a pup-tent?

well, i don't think he specifically said pup tent or parents' backyard (both may be the case, but i'll refrain from jumping to conclusions).

but yeah, i'd say that either activity is one traditionally enjoyed by children but is also perfectly acceptable for an adult.
