you guys. i just blew up my weed

Ok so I'm smoking a vaporizer. Closed glass bulb. So I hooked an tank of pure oxygen we use for diving and filled the bulb chamber with oxygen thinkin_ oxygen isn't flammable but helps ignition so the weed might burn smother. - the buds not lighting man so I wonder what's up when all that shit lit up like a light bulb with smoke poring out. I'm gonna do it again and get a video

the point of vaporizing is so that the weed doesn't ignite.

Oxygen is really fucking flammable. Haven't you ever seen signs on people's houses "NO SMOKING, oxygen tank in use"

Also, yeah vaporizing = not igniting, but vaporizing.

Dude, pure oxygen has alot more potential for combustion than our atmosphere. The air we breathe is only like 20%-25% oxygen, the rest is nitrogen/Carbon dioxide and other gases...

i would highly suggest you stay away from anything containing gas and go back to school.the fumes vapor from gasoline is the flamable part.liquid gas is not flammable.id tell you how to find out but judging by your post your too stupid to do it and will blow yourself up.remember an empty gas tank is more dangerous than a 1/2 tank

Oxygen is NOT flammable. If it was, our world would just blow up.

HOWEVER, it DOES potentiate any flame ~ meaning that the more oxygen there is, the BIGGER FLAME there will be.

Unless you have some sort of secret desire to blow yourself and part of your house to kingdom come, i would highly advise against doing that anymore.

 

Right, Oxygen by it self is not flamable. It needs other chemicals to make it combustable. IE: you soak marijuana with pure oxygen... You got some unstable shit that could blow up at any moment.

 

Right, because marijuana acts as the fuel.

The last requirement is a reaction which would result in an ignition... such as a spark.
