i appreciate the hell out of it, considering it was more of a tribute than a direct wish, since i wasn't even here to respond.

it was simple. my best friend wade came over... hold on, i have to go take a piss...

okay. so wade came over. wade works at the recycling center on campus. during the day, he came across, apparently, 100s of textbooks. he took a bunch of them and basically sold them back to the bookstore, and made like 300 bucks. one of them he gave to me for a birthday present (actually, 2, but i sort of made him give me the other).

he said "here's 70 dollars, i'm going to take you to the ABC store (liquor store) and you buy a fifth of grey goose, and a fifth of rum, and you keep the rest and buy whatever."

so we did that, and with the rest of the money i bought a whole bunch of import singles at this store where you can "make your own six pack" (even though you pay for each one separately). it was like 24 bucks (which is, do the math, 2 bucks a beer), but because it was, essentially, free money, nobody cared.

so we came back to my house, some more friends came over, they drank liquor, i drank awesome beer, we all smoked awesome blunts, and we ended the night with 2 large pizzas which were essentially the side item to a BASKETBALL-COURT SIZED order of cheesesticks.

it wasn't anything wild or crazy, but it was exactly the way i wanted to spend the night.
