Yes they have for me as well, I'm much more prone to be overwhelmed by a feeling of oneness with everything, approaching ego loss, but not nearly as strong . . . I also get much more visual changes. My 2 cents on flashbacks is enjoy them they are part of the lsd trip that will never leave you
Ive never had a flashback, but weed has definitely changed since taking a lot of acid. Being stoned reminds me of acid now. When im on acid it feels like I've come home. That this is the place i should be, not the "real world". Now i sort of get that same home is where the heart is kind of feeling when im stoned. I like it better now.
i think its just how you let the weed effect you. if you trip a lot or have tripped a lot your mind set on lsd carries over to the weed. one thing lsd teaches you is how to control your mind, put that with marijuana and you learn how to control your high, you can set the mood of your high. whenever im just chillin with some friends and were smoking a blunt or something my high feels relaxed and mellow, if i smoke by myself and meditate and let my mind free, my high takes me to space. not to mention all this really potent weed going around,i dont know about you but i havent even seen mids in months, were overloaded with kushes, and purps, and blueberrys. some of these weeds seem to have some trancendental effects.
I feel the exact same way . . . acid throws up the curtain on what you're missing around you all the time
mark me down too. The herb highs have been different since my last trip (which may have been close to 1000 mic's, idk). I can't really explain how they're different, pehaps just more psychedelic, and since I don't prepare myself for psychedelia every time I smoke, it can be chaotic. It has made me want to cut down how much I toke and to extract from sobriety what I used to extract from the herb. My last trip made me strive to not be dependent on herb or anything.
me too. smoking weed was definitely more psychedelic after my first few times with acid. it's been a long time since i've done acid though, so i think those effects are gone. i've taken 2c-e a couple of times, and when i smoke weed after that it's weird too. smoking pot isn't as fun as it used to be. it probably comes from years of overdoing it. weed is tricky.
Yes! In fact, I just posted a thread about this in other drugs. it's pretty uncomfortable if you ask me.. Like at times it can be fun, but the mind trip is a little bit too much at other times. The first time I really experienced this after acid i just kept yelling to my friends, holy shit this is soo what acid feels like!! Cuz to be honest it really did (we were supposed to be tripping on some gel tabs, but they turned out to be completely bunk)So we smoked 2 blunts and got really stoned. I was convinced that the acid just "kicked in late" but the next time i got super stoned. haha voila.. the effects were back.. not it feels like i dont really need drugs to feel psychedelic effects. It seems to me you just have to know HOW to look for em. Its just drugs make them a lot cooler, and a lot more fun. Its always interesting to feel different now and then. But to be honest i love sobriety just as much as I love acid.
Its not the obvious things that amaze you, its the things you would never expect. You know, stuff that doesnt have to scream to get your attention. That's why nature is so fuckin tight . Its there everyday, and yet we cover it up with buildings and roads, and pieces of crappy art thats only there because the government is trying to instill a sense of originality. It's all so fabricated and forced upon us. Its too bad I fall for these tricks too until I am alone to think about it. Or unless I'm on drugs.
comes back to, once you take acid your life will never be the same again, doesnt matter if the trip was good or bad, you cant forget the acid universe once you've seen and learnt about it. acid changed not only my weed trips but my entire life perpective in alot of ways.
Weed is always psychedelic You're gonna be dissapointed if you're expecting it to change dramatically from pre-lsd weed. It's still weed, you still get the weed high, it's YOU who has changed. And it usually only takes 1 time with lsd but sometimes a few.
Cannabis toking for me is now called anxiety attack from hell, which is why I don't partake in any other balogna anymore.
I can relate at times. And I smoke daily since 70s. You can thank your conservative upbringing in a world where substance use is called drug abuse and users are villafied and perceived guilt racks our brains, even at sub-conscious levels. At 47 I still wrestle with it occasionally. If nothing else it has opened my eyes to questions the so called "norms" of society. Try to use and understand the anxiety, where it comes from, and you'll soon discover some lies you thought were truths. I think I have changed not the weed. Basically we've always had great weed here for as long as I can remember, but how and why I smoke and my thoughts are different than when I was 17 so my "high" is markedly different today 30 years later. great thread Snocbar!
OK good! because i love my weed highs! haha! Hmm. i've dropped 3 times and my highs are still the same...
In my opinion, the change to weed high happens when you experience significant ego death, either from lsd, shrooms, meditation, whatever. Once you are in that zone long enough for it to affect something real in your life, then that power remains latent in your psyche and when you give your mind a little juice with THC, it jumps right back into the formless world
