Religions are one way of showing human natures competitiveness. We fight over our beliefs of beginning. No-one knows for sure but most of us have some kind of opinion which is just what it should be left at.. opinion. It's like "guess how many peanuts are in the box" and if your "brother's" guess isn't what you would've guessed you hit him and tell him that your guess is better, but if it's the same, you start a religion There's no way of knowing how it all started or what's behind it all. The big bang theory suggests that it all started from some kind of explosion, but they have no idea what was before the big bang. I wouldn't even know what was before me if it wasn't all recorded, and even those records are merely a fraction of what was. Plus there's this whole ape period with hardly any records (few elementary finger paintings) of their knowledge. And before that.. before that.. before that.. we have absolutely no way of knowing what was in the beginning. I know it's amusing to contemplate the meaning of life (when you're high or tripping) but how fu*ked up would you have to be to start a fight over it. This world has gone downhill since the day one. Was it inevitable? I don't know. We're like bacteria or mold on a fruit, but the fruit that we're on is Earth and you've seen what happens to those fruits. Relativity and attraction are the key words to understanding the universe. Certainly this area is highly subjective.. If you think of atoms and electrons and all the tiniest pieces known to modern man, you might notice a certain similarities between it and our galaxies. So it's all subjective depending on how close or how far are you looking. One might also wonder how your size effects on how you experience things. Bacteria for example increases very rapidly compared to creatures closer to our caliber. Another factor that I believe is very relative to size is time. Okay, I think I'm done here. I could go on and on about the stupidity of man, but I'm tired. Maybe later. English is not my mother language so excuse me for all the typos and grammar related errors. The text came up quiet long so thank you very much if you took the time to read it all. Comments and counter-opinions are very welcome.
Did anything happen? I have a dream without an opinion. I have an opinion which I forgot because of the dream.
Nice analogy, and I guess we are like that except that I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. Things live and then they die and it is going to be the same with Earth; lets just hope that humanity finds its bearings and looks for a good way to move on. I don't agree that things are getting totally worse though it seems like everyone thinks it is, I mean there hasn't been major war in long time and even though Iraq, Afghanistan, various civil wars, and genocides are still occuring it seems like it's just causing people to wake up to the horror that humans can inflict upon each other and work to minimize it as best we can. Peace
I hate religion, the idea of having to worship a "god" actually sickens me And the thought of "if im not a good boy ill go to hell" makes me a very angry person True it only showns mankinds competetive streak and lust for dominance and the idea of being the "one true religion", which every religion basicly thinks it is, is rediculous. Reigion is actually what first sparked my interest in philosophy and made me think about things from a totally different point of view
I have visions of bacteria arguing over a dream they both had, the dream was about who would fuck your sister first. WTF could it be possible? That shit happens o k?!?!?!?!
