For the umpteenth time, I am NOT a Christian and I don't eat meat. None at all. While I may be American, I rally long and hard against my own country, not just yours. It's broke just as badly as Israel is and both are threats to the world because of it. As for gays, need I remind you that Tel Aviv has one of the largest open gay communities in the Middle East? If your people come to power in Israel, what are you going to do to them after you're done killing all the Arabs and deporting all the Christians? You can start by kissing the tourist industry goodbye. US aid too. The world will put a blockade around an all Jew Israel to contain the hatred. You can't win. As for religion in general, this is from my blog a couple years ago. Featured on a prominant Middle Eastern website. And you thought I only posted on Hipforums... Entitled "To Hell With Religion" "What good have you done? You create wars. You treat certain people differently. You deny women equality. You impose yourself on others who wish to have nothing to do with you. Yet, you continue to thrive. Something in our human nature calls us from beyond. Even the most hardened atheist hears his name occasionally spoken. But why? When a soul takes on human form, we become limited and shortsighted. Our ability to see where we came from is cut off in favor of worldly distraction. One of these distractions is religion. It preys upon that unknowable part of us that still remembers an existance before our "fall". Religion, despite the fact that many find comfort within it's embrace, is nothing more than the blind leading the blind. It has become a plaything for powerful people who wish to protect that power. They use the words of those who actually had divine experiences as their own to back this power over other people. The priests. The Mullahs. The TV preachers. You are all blind. You are all corrupt. Religions to create a war for redemption at any price. This is not the case in Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. We fight for peace with the price of peace. The real ground thiefs are Arabs. But you HAVE to give up the notion of Israel as a "Jewish" state. That is one of the chief grinding points in this ordeal. Israel has to be for ALL people who reside within it's borders, not just Jews. And this elite status that Jews have within Israel is the most offensive of all. It's pure racism. It takes place at the expense of non Jews, and that is not acceptable. People were easily fooled by zionism 60 years ago. A "Jewish" state sounded like a good thing... to people who didn't understand the powers behind it's formation. So, Israel was born and given legal status in the world community. It's raised hell ever since. This too has to stop. The only way to stop it is equality for all people who are Israeli. That means the end of zionism with the intent of owning the land in the name of Judaism. You're going to have to learn to play well with others or the others are going to bring war right into your laps. You ARE outnumbered.
