I sometimes go to this other soup kitchen slash shelter, but only stay for the soup kitchen. They refuse you food if you don't go to the sermon first which is 45 minutes to a hour long, & this ones government own.

This Muslim church downtown where I live, they will refuse you the once a month groceries they offer if you don't participate in their activities first. You'll also get a $10 gift card if you go up & kneel down & pray to Allah for your forgiveness.

The gift was that t.v box, the one you'll need after February, got a government rebate on it so it was only 10 bucks.

I guess poor people are ungodly...

It's sickening that churches can't just help people, they have to have an angle....

i personally feel that you took advantage of someones generosity when you could have fed yourself..

your cousin could have done without some meaningless gift, unless of course it was food or clothes and i doubt it was.

so in essence i see it as karma for taking money you could have used to feed yourself and using it to buy into a corporate scam to generate revenue for them..

OMG you mean people profess to be christians then steal? shocking..
