It was my first time and day in Paris today and this town's amazing. I'm considering scrapping the Sicily plan altogether and staying here longer. I'll post some pictures to my gallery, too at some point. Meanwhile, a shot I just had to take today.
I've been to Paris three times already and I've never stopped loving it. It's probably the second city (after Prague) I'd like to live in If I could.. Enjoy! And don't forget to visit Montmartre
Yeah, I plan to. I'll spend the first three days or so sightseeing the must-see places and then take it easy.
I've been to Paris three times, it's never been one of my favorites. I wouldn't pass up Italy for it, that's for sure.
It's dirty, there are too many fat American tourists, way too many Arabs, and I have a strong hatred for the French who are some of the worst people in the world.
I thought it was because you are only comfortable in small Arkansas towns and Florida swamps I have been fascinated every place I have been to in Europe, but it has been ages since I was in France, exchange program in 5th grade
I do like pretty much all of Europe other than Paris, I even kinda like other parts of France. I suspect that I wouldn't like England though.
Damn. I was hoping this thread was about Mojo being the latest in a long line of thrillseekers to bang Paris Hilton. I feel so empty inside. Paris, France is a filthy, filthy city. Blech.
It's actually surprisingly clean, I was expecting a lot worse but I saw cleaners around all the time and Barcelona, for example, is a total sewer compared to Paris. What's also weird, I was there for 5 days and during that time I saw a maximum of 4 Americans. And I was shocked at how few fat people there were, seriously, it's freakin' thin-town. Plus barely anyone smoked and people were always really polite if they bumped into me or something so all the bad stereotypes I heard were wrong.
It's changed considerably since I was there in 1991 then... And if they can be nice to you lot, they can learn to be nice to us.
