whisky! :cheers2: i seen that black bottle finally, i might try it sometime. despite myself, i did by a blended whisky recently, and it was pretty good. i've never been a fan of dewars, but i found a bottle of dewars 12 year on sale for only 20 bucks, so i picked it up, and enjoyed every minute of it i still prefer my aberlour or isle of jura or oban, though :tongue:
You're in America right? My uncle was always going on at me about that Dewars, he lives in Ft Laud. I thought he was saying "Jews" all the time... Anyway, Black Bottle is Scotland's best kept whisky secret, it don't matter a shit if it's a pure malt, it's where the water comes from that matters, and the Isle of Islay is one of the best regions. BB is a blend of the 7 highly regarded single malts from there, only it's less than half the price!

Never tried that one. I'll make a point of taking a note of that in the future. What's it like way up there then? Probably a bit better than Dumfries, eh? Is it like on the Wicker man? Any undiscovered hippie communities living up in that part of the world. The HIghlands sadly is not a place I have spent much of my life, although I have been there on holiday as a kid, never been anywhere further north than Oban, Inverness or Ft william.
Hey McLeodGanja we're hiding under the stones up here and only surface occasionally but anywhere would be better than Dumfries lol It's not everybodies cup of tea man I moved from Falkirk in 2000 and it's taken till this year to really be accepted into the community they don't take to what they call grey settlers (other scots) and they don't have anytime for the english (white settlers) at all. if your a grower pm me Merry Xmas when it comes
