I have had a very strange dream recently. The main character, a girl, comes home from school for lunch to find her brother and his girlfriend sitting on the couch downstairs. The girl makes herself some ice cream. The Girl realizes that she won’t be able to get to school on time and still get a good lunch. So she quickly throws some small oven baked chicken balls into the oven and runs downstairs and tells her brother in a probability she won’t get to eat her food and still get to school. She asks her brother to call the school and say she’ll be late. He kisses his girlfriend but never responds. The girl goes back to the kitchen to find her chicken balls are huge and lop sided while baking. They are huge and distilled. She takes them out angrily makes some sauce. They have a powdery, wheat taste that doesn’t wash away with water. She goes downstairs and instead of eating (I’m not sure if she ate the chicken balls. I think she tried them in the downstairs room) and tries to dance. She sees her reflection in the glass cabinet but with old clothes and an old man and woman. The young girl is dressed in old clothes and being touched dirtily by the old man, who does nothing. The girl goes to leave but sees the Fabricated Girl in the corner. She has long black hair and a white dress, her face is a greyish colour, her eyes are empty, and the Girl never can get a good look at her face. The girl realizes her brother is gone and heads into the bathroom. She swears she saw something behind the door, but never got a good look. While in the background the girl washes her hands with crystal clear water in a dirty sink. And reflects on her new found agnostics. She suddenly hears a voice saying ‘Come to me and Jesus.’ The Girl quickly rushes towards the sound to see the edge of the Fabricated Girl’s head out of the toilet but she jumps down. The toilet is dirty. The Girl rushes upstairs and calls her friend, Blondie. Blondie comes over and talks to her briefly. But Blondie is different, instead of the grown up teenager she used to be, she is back to being a little girl. With a protruding tummy and mismatched, dirty clothes. They rush out of the house and go out for no real reason to talk. The Girl explains what happened and says that she fears she is insane because she has had these visions before, she insists that the Fabricated Girl ‘hissed’ not ‘spoke’. Blondie and The Girl keep walking towards some disclosed location. Finally, Blondie sees The Girl’s mother’s van and runs after it. The Mother is in the middle of doing a u-turn in the middle of the street. The Girl turns around to see the Fabricated Girl hiding in her shadow. Then a man with long, blonde hair, a brown beard, a black top hat and some tough looking black leather jacket (He also has weapons like guns and knives, too) The Girl and Blondie get scared and run into The Girl’s house (They walked around the block during their conversations even though it didn’t ‘feel’ like it). This is stupid on Blondie’s part because she was right next to a car on the other side of the street, and actually had to go backwards to The Girl and the monsters. They manage to get into the house but the man is still chasing them, the Fabricated Girl is gone. Blondie and The Girl however see The Girl’s dog running rapidly down the street, and even though they barely escaped the Blonde Man, they rush down and grab the dog and pull it into the house. The Mother (Of The Girl) is talking to a Dark Haired Boy who has The Girl’s photograph. They have never met before but The Girl sees her as she is running into the house and wonders if he is the Dark Haired Boy she saw hiding in her closet at night. The Mother loudly screams ‘WHY THE FUCK DOES HE HAVE HER PHOTO?” Then she sees Blondie and The Girl running away and screams “WHY THE FUCK IS THE DOG OUT?”. She is on the other side of the street but her voice is clear. The Blond Man is on the porch. Somehow The Girl believes they are after her, so she runs deeper into the house’s hallway with the dog in her arms. So Blondie is left to close the doors as the Blond Man approaches. Blondie closes all the doors and then runs into the living room. But the moment after the Blond Man has already tore his way through the doors and The Girl rushes into the kitchen. A big, fat woman is standing there and The Girl hides behind the Fat Woman. The Blond Man walks past her and starts checking the window the shows the backyard. The Girl jumps underneath the table and the Blond Man walks past her despite the loudness of The Girl’s footsteps or the obviousness of her hiding spot. The Girl runs downstairs into the basement and immediately regrets trapping herself. She turns to rush out but sees the Blonde Man has cornered her. The Girl goes into the basement and finds a jack-in-the-box amongst her old toys. The Jack inside is screaming loudly ‘FREE ME, FREE ME.’ And the Blond Man is getting closer to finding her new hiding spot. So the Girl lets the Jack out to stop his screaming, only to have his scream some more. The Blonde Man turns and suddenly the ceiling crushes down on her and she tries to scream for help (She hears her mother screaming ‘FUCK YOU’ to the Fat Woman upstairs) but cannot. Instead she is crushed into oblivion. Suddenly, the girl wakes up in her own bed on her stomach (The position she was crushed in). She grabs her laptop beside the bed (That’s what I do, anyway) and boots up her laptop. She wants to write this down because as a writer, she needs more ideas. When she finally opens her word processor, she can see in the reflection of her laptop’s screen the Fabricated Girl. In the word processor the Girl types the words ‘What is life but a dream?’. The Fabricated Girl starts licking her face all over and seems to have taken her somewhere. Then I woke up.
