Oki, so tell me about the things that were your fetishes. I like the idea of wearing socks and slippers. Can you just be there for me to keep encouraging me to do it? I'd really appreciate it. I'm here now in my room with my shoes untied. I'd like to take them off. Then if I could, I'd like to try walking out in the rest of the house. Help me please. Yes, I wear short sleeve shirts all the time. I can see in a way why that is like going barefoot. We need to keep talking!!!!! Mike
Ohhh Geez, that's the same way I was! One kid at school made a comment that I was trying to hide needle marks by wearing long sleeve shirts. Only one time did I wear ever a short sleeve shirt to school and that was on the last day of school when I was in the sixth grade. However, I did get better once I reached high school, then it was short sleeves in the summer months. The only t-shirts I had were undeshirts, and one real t-shirt I owned was part of my uniform for gym class. Growing up in a cold climate had it's rewards, it was acceptable to be bundled up sort of speak. Nowadays I very rarely wear long sleeve shirts, just t- shirts. As a kid I would have definately passed on shirts without colars. Nowadays if it's hot, I rarely think twice of going outside shirtless! Ok, I know it's off topic, let's get back to barefooting!
It would be so cool to just start going barefoot and not think about doing it. Then if I would think of it, it could be that bit of excitedness I get when I do now. Now when I have my apartment, I can't stand wearing shoes or socks. The first thing that I do when I get in the door is to become barefoot. Isn't it funny that I am so different at home? And you know, even if I'm in my apartment and someone calls from home, I feel funny if I'm barefoot. Feel like I need to put my shoes and socks back on right away, even though no one can see through the phone! So how am I going to get to the point of going barefoot at home in front of them? Come on, we need to get some ideas here!!
Just to give an update. Everyone else at home is asleep. My door is closed. I untied my shoes and slipped them off. I have socks on but have been here for a few minutes anyway like this. Not much else. I might try and take off my socks too. But I don't think that would last for long. Mike
I could'nt even answer the door if I was barefoot, of course that was then not now. It is very interesting that you had trouble answering the telephone if you were barefoot. That sounds strange even coming from a person who was foot shy, how would the other person on the other end know if you were barefoot unless you told them? I'm a little confused about your current living arangements, do you presently reside alone or do you stay with your family?
Hmm.. when you answer the phone, does it sort of feel like it would if you answered it while wearing lacy lingerie? :B Anyway.. ideas... maybe a steady progression. Like, maybe get some slippers (or moccasin type things or whatever you'd feel comfortable with, both coverage- and fashion-wise. I think it's important that the slipper style fit your personality or you'll feel awkward about them for other reasons) that cover most or all of your foot, wear those for a while, (with socks if you want) then switch to less covering slippers or lose the socks, then go to just socks, then try to go around completely barefoot for a few minutes every day, or walk through a room with your family members in it while barefoot, and continue spending more time barefoot until you feel like you can do it any time you want and for as long as you want. How does that sound? Anyway, that's the most obvious solution I can see... it might take me a bit to come up with a different approach. D:
Why dont you just not bring it up and just start doing it, I doubt they would really have a problem with it.
One of you asked what my living arrangement is now. I live at home with my mother and sister. I had been in my own apartment but moved out due to a change in work location. As for being comfortable with my feet, I think I am fairly so. When I'm completely alone, I don't seem to have a problem with it. Just when there are others around or there is the chance someone will come in. Right now, I'm sitting in my room with just my briefs on. I'm barefoot and don't have any problem with it. I can easily wear a bathing suit and be barefoot or wear flip flops, even around family. It is the idea of being barefoot with clothes on. I can see how the small step approach might work. Even with that, I'm not sure how I'd bring myself to do it. There has to be that initial push to get me moving. Just have to think about it. I know that when I was going for bike rides last summer, I would get very hot. When I came home, I was all sweaty and I thought how refreshing it would be to take off my shoes and socks. Maybe I can use this approach this year when I go back to riding. I am not sure. It will be different. I bet that once I do it, I will do it all the time. Of course, I will not want to fall back into this way of being. I've had some dreams about that, believe it or not. I dreamt that I had gone barefoot at home but for some reason, stopped doing it. So, are we going to keep try to encourage me to go barefoot?
Barefoot is barefoot, your feet are exposed, period. I'm lost on why it would make a difference wheather you would be in a bathing suit or say wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.
I agree. There's no "easing into this," especially if you're already wearing flip-flops around your family. Just rip off the damn shoes and socks and get on with it!
I remember that when I used to wear boots outside, my socks would slip down inside them. Sometimes they would even come off. When I would come back inside, I would have to put them back on. But it was not so bad having them off for the few moments they were as I got them back on. Had something to do with how my feet felt......No sweat or coldness.
Hi, you said you were used to go barefoot everywhere when you were a pre-school kid - and you turned over to feel embarassingly showing bare feet when your mother asked you to try on new pants while being barefoot (and naked) and having an erection? Sorry, this sounds odd to me. I wonder how old you are. If you want to go barefoot so badly, as you say, why don't you just try out and look what happens?
Some of you really have a hard time believing what is true. Just because you don't experience it, doesn't mean that no one else can experience that!
Just because some of you don't have the same experiences that I have, doesn't mean that I am not telling the truth.
As for being barefoot in a bathing suit vs. jeans, the difference is that your foot is surrounded by material with jeans. You are barefoot but the fact you have pants on makes the fact you are barefoot all the more pronounced. If you have nothing on your legs or feet, there isn't any boundary so to speak.
I understand exactly what you're talking about, nr3c. I've been a 24/7 barefooter for years, and frankly I still feel more conspicuous when barefoot in long jeans or pants than I do when wearing shorts.
