*disclaimer, i do not know if i'm posting this in the correct area. anyways to my point: i do not have much experience in this area, i've only been with two different males, but whenever i show any pain or discomfort when being fingered they assume their fingernails are too long. now this doesn't make sense to me, women tend to have longer fingernails then men? and finger themselves? so how would this make sense to a man? If she can do it herself with her fingernails, then how would his effect her? I'm confused.

they have a better angle, more power so yh it does make a difference if they have long nails, it makes it bleed alittle i think. so best if they are short, i remember some joke about how to tell if a woman is a lesbian, check her fingernails... xxx
yeaps. Untrimmed nails, Men dont know how to use a emery board on the nail they just cut them off. Making the edges sharp.. You could slip them the emery board.. Or maybe you could have them put on surgical gloves.. Or have them watch queer eye for the straight guys..
BunnySuit - - Rough nails certainly can be a problem, but poor technique is much more likely. Learn how to do it yourself so that you can teach inexperienced guys how to do it so that it feels good.
fingering is still pretty important for me. I'm not saying that his fingernails have bothered me, i just find it odd that they think they would in the first place.

at any rate it was important to get started and i just thought it was hilarious that he was worried about his finger nails. I wondered if this was weird or like, had some sense to it.
Not weird for him to be concerned .... thoughtful of him. I've always kept my nails short, except for the pinkie nails, and smooth out of consideration.
i keep my fingernails on my right hand long because i fingerpick the guitar. this means that i must really refrain from using my right hand or else I'll hurt somebody. people have commented on it before "oh my god your nails are so long and sharp, how do you finger a girl" and i say "i don't, i use my dick."
skilled hands make half the man, ^_^ so ive been told. i never had complaints, although i have thought to myself that my own fingernails might be to rough on my partner. *shrugs* technique is everything from start to finish.
I've checked my fingernails to be sure they were short... wouldn't want to scratch her in sensitive places!
