Yes, so I'm gauging my ears and currently, I've made a taper out of a straw. My ears are currently zeroes, but I really want to go bigger. The problem is I'm broke as fuck. So any suggestions on what to use that's relatively cheap? And yes, I know; it's ghetto as hell. Lulz.
I saw a guy with wine corks in his ears the other day. Maybe something like that could be trimmed to size?
I used to have straws in my ears. Make sure whatever you use isn't porous. That shit'll get dank fast. I made ceramic gauges in art class a while back. They eventually broke, but they were sweet as tits.
Lawl. Amfg. That's fucking hilarious. I might look into the whole ceramic guage thing. And when I made that taper out of a straw, and where I cut it and taped it back together, it was crusty and shit in there....I just had to throw it away. It was awful. Lul. You gotta love it.
Eh, I've just heard of people using tape, like electrical tape, to cover the outside of their guages to make them larger. Which is also a good idea to ease into the next larger size, especially considering I could only imagine how much going from a 0g to a 00g (I'm currently at a 0g with no intention of going larger) would hurt. I never got on with tape.. but when I was going from 1/2" to 3/4" I wore a variety of pen lids, lids off hotel shampoo bottles.. oh and lipbalms.
