I think I'm going to get a Chelsea 'hawk.

It's too chunky-like when it's up, I think.

Then again, yr hair probably isn't as fried as mine.

I never put shit in mine. It just stayed where I put it. Like black people hair.

 

it might be splitting apart like that because of the type of jell of hair product your using...if its a heavy jell it will weigh it down and split, try a lighter but strong product like a heavy hairspray or something, if u wana redo it every day

I use the hair paste shit, too.

 

Fuck the hair paste.

Tease the roots of yr hair before you spike it. It'll help.

And use this shit. When my 'hawk dreaded I had to use it to make it stay up, and it worked wonders.

 

that got2b spray is AMAZING!

i use it to keep my fauxhawk up.
it works so well that when i sleep my hair still done, it looks the same in the morning haha.
(i know this is a bad idea)


if you want it to work better, when you spray your hair with it.. blast the area with a hair dryer and it's like superglue

So I remember writing this thread months ago.
I loved my Cheslea 'hawk to death, but my mother hated it.
She wanted me to cut my hair, make it more feminine.
Well, I wore it up one day and she says "I'm just going to shave your hair off."
A couple days later, I come home with a full Chelsea.
She shat a brick, needless to say.
But hey, at least it's not a mohawk.

As God as my witness, my 'hawk shall rise again one day.

I've thought about getting a chelsea hawk. I think they look wicked awesome. But everytime I try to do something of the sort (I used to shave the underside of my hair) people always assume that I am gay. It really sucked. I got gay bashed even though I'm straight. So I'm not sure if I wanna put myself through that again. But I think it's really awesome, go you for doing it.

I got beat up once because I was mistaken for a skin head. I'm like, I'm not a skin head, I'm not a lesbian, it's just really hot and this hair cut is cool on my neck? why is that so hard for everyone to get? I started growing my hair back out after that.
