    Yes it has begun!
I have a reallyyy nice start, but I'm having trouble.
My tons of baby hairs won't comply!
And Im having lots of trouble getting my roots to dread. I'm doing this naturally, but just guiding it for now.
    So any advice?

I'll be able to post pics soon, but I'm on my ipod right now, lol.

Just ignore the roots, you dont have to "get" them to dread, they will when they want to.

    I deffimately won't!

But I slept last night with them down and they're pretty frizzy.
I just put them in a bandana. :p

Where at in Indiana do you live. I live in Noblesville, slightly northeast of indianapolis.

As far as your dreads go, don't worry about them especially when they are new. It will only frustrate you. Just go with the flow and love the loose hair and frizz.

    Alright Aloe Vera... Will do.

You have got to let go!
Doesn't matter what people think! If you care that much then perhaps dreads aren't for you!
You have truly got to let go, what are people going to say when they start to form into dreads...?
All through life you will recieve the same prejudice so either let go or don't do it :)
Sorry to be so harsh. *hug*

I know and that's exactly why I decided to put them back in. I missed them a lot. Usually I don't care but when it comes from your dad it's a little harder to ignore.
Rofl a few days ago this lady was like "that's nasty! Brush your hair!" it made me smile.
