ok recently i have found out/realized that i might be gay or bie still can't figure out what i want, and i am so stressed out and confused about this, I told my mom what i was thinking and she told me it was something all teenagers go throw and I'm not gay or bie but i really don't know becouse i look at gay porn and like it but i also some times want to look at straight porn and i still look at girls but i also look at guy's. I'm close to another nervous brake down i think. So i actually have a question do teenager actually go throw a faze that they think they are gay?
That's something people who can't accept homosexuality tell young people at a time when they're trying to figure out their sexuality.
Wanderingsoul's right.Your parents are just trying to put you down.Maybe their right,but you should figure that out for yourself.Go with it until you know what you want for sure.
I disagree. I do believe there are many teenagers who do go through phases. Your mum isn't taking you seriously probably because of your age (I presume you are a teenager). Sounds to me like you are probably Bi-sexual. When I was a teen I remember the bi-curious crowds, they never enjoyed looking at gay porn, yet still kissed other boys. End of, you do so you must have homo-erotic tendencies of some degree.
Well, that doesnt mean anything, we dont like most gay porn either, its crap. Gay porn isnt made for gay guys. Married guys are the far bigger market, even the odd curious female would be the bigger market. Half the guys in gay porn arent gay, they just do it for the money. And exclusive gay doesnt usually work on the visual, much like the girls, they need to be in the physical presence of a muscley torso before things start to crank up
well, from very recent personal experiences in this, i say that you just have to sit down with your sel and think about it. think of why you might like guys, if you realy like girls or if the ideas been pushed into your mind that its normal and its what you should choose (and thats a hard to determain part, i still think about it alot, but i geuss im just pan sexual, and go more for personality than phisical or sexual apperence, though i do have a stronger preference to guys) and when you find that out, youll have ansered your own questions. think of any clues that you might have though about guys in that kinda way before you started questioning your sexuality, and think about if there are guys you like right now, and if there are, why do you like them?
In my many years as a therapist I have frequently found teenagers who were uncertain about their sexuality. Teen years are all about growing, developing, exploring and changing. You very well may be gay or bi and only time and experience will give you an answer. The up side of this is, you don't have to decide right now. It's really cool that you felt comfortable in talking with your mom. Whoever and however you turn out I wish you the best.
