I am convinced that there will not be a revolution in this country until the dumbed-down, material-obsessed yuppies have their Chinese junk confiscated from them by men in black uniforms and black ski masks, and are no longer able to afford food and basic necessities. Unfortunately, the infrastructure is already in place to deal with those who will no doubt rebel once hell is unleashed and their families come undone.

The average American has no clue what's in store for them. They cannot even fathom the absolute savagery of what is about to be unleashed upon this world. They are sitting ducks who love wallowing in their own ignorance and decadence. They love believing the lies fed to them daily by their corporate media heros. They love believing they have a say in the system that was created to enslave them. When it comes to people waking up to the truth, the majority of them are a lost cause.

 

Skyhawk where was your outrage when the Patriot Act was passed and renewed, or FISA, why don't you call your representatives out for not being aware of the SPP and it's agenda? Why wasn't oversight and accountability built in to the TARP?

It's a little late to be outraged after the fact. All of these things could have been prevented from being established.

When do you see the American public becoming aware of the real threat to their liberties...the infringement of the constitution in the name of safety?

 

If you mean the general public, then my answer is after it is too late to be proactive. And reaction will likely, imho, be insufficient. It is likely already too late, and most people seem to be concerned only with buying lottery tickets and whether or not their team wins the bowl game. Oh yeah, and their increasing concerns with the economy are a little bit confused with the fact that gas finally dropped back.

On that subject, I have heard that the powers that be intentionally flooded the market with cheap gas from places like Alaska and Russia to feck with Iran and Venezuala, etc. Certainly the mid-east's income is cut noticably because of the cheapness.

I am wanting many more answers, tho' I have a few ideas. Please share.
