"In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily, and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie." -Adolph Hitler (Mein Kampf)
And it was written while he was in prison, with what I suspect was more than just a weed up his ass A Hotwater
I haven't read it. But I imagine it would appeal to malcontents who project their insecurities, and think themselves smarter than "most people" as a defense mechanism.
But it’s important to read it nevertheless to understand what those little peons are spewing hotwater
What this guy said. It seems kinda like the thing pseudo intellectuals read and than try to bring into random conversations about politics. Most people don't know what the hell they're on about and assume that it makes any sense in context. But it doesn't, it's poor literature. I wouldn't even reccomend it for most history students.
