i'm 15 and i feel so depressed right now that i can't comprehend what's going on in my life.. it's like some creature is inside my belly ripping my soul out. I feel like dying so much that i'm contemplating suicide. I have no idea what's wrong with me. I just wanna be happy for a little bit. I feel like such an emo asshole right now. what should i do??:(

Find a creative outlet. I find most people go through stages like that around that same age. Write your emo heart out, draw, it doesn't matter if you're good at it or not, just do it.

    Welcome to teenage world.

    Buckle up. Hang on. Enjoy.

And in between all that, think about where you want to go.

    Surf. Don't float.

=[. It shouldn't be this way. I fucking know it... if this is the age of growing and change then we should be happy so we could get to where we want easier. Teenagers should be loving school if we're forced to go there everyday. We should be encouraged not called winers like they always call us when we ask for help.. We have to be doing something wrong.

im 15, and i know EXXACTLY what you are talking about. i think its normal. i just scream and yell till i loose my voice and then cry myself to sleep. then i wake up in a perfectly fine mood. what happened to make you feel this way? or is it just mood swings?

we shouldn't have to cry ourselves to sleep. At least not alone. If an adult did that then everyone around them would know. We sit in our rooms and don't tell anyone. And if we do they don't listen. They give us the same bullshit. "uhh you need to get your grades up". How about my sanity?

i wish adults could remember baccck beyond the memories of things that happened. i wish they could remember how they felt or the things that went through their heads. we hit the cultural genetic lottery, but we're forced to sit here and suffer from the eternal battles in us in silence. its completely ridiculous.

i know =[. We're in an endless loop of pain. And we get the same answers over and over. And it only reminds us that there is no answer.

and they accuse us of over exaggerating, or lying, or being cry babies. but all we need is a little attention and some love.

yep. it's a loop. =[. The most we can do is hang with our friends and try to isolate ourselves from the sadness.

NEVER! we have to somehow change the way children are taken care of for our future. If there is any future. But we probably won't ever be able to pull that off. lol

The teenage years are hard and strange years.
I remember being really depressed and confused most of the time. I remember not fitting in, being self conscious and thinking that nothing could get better.
But let me tell you it does, life has a strange way of working things out, and how you feel and think today will change over time. Your growing up and its tough, but it makes you stronger.
Don't give up and don't hold your self down thats the worst part.
My best advice to you is:
    * Try thinking more positively. ( I know that sounds kind of dumb, but it works) This might be tricky at first, but it gets easier over time. (write down things you love are grateful for)
    * Keep a journal write down how your feeling it helps to let it all out.
    * Talk to someone you know in Person that you trust. Forums are great for some things, but I've had some strange people respond to posts with strange answers.
*Find something you enjoy doing. I think what really got me through those teen years was my job at lunch time with the special needs students. It was the best thing I've ever done and it taught me a whole other side of life. It really could be anything, music, reading, cooking man find your passion.
    * Dont worry to much, things work them selves out eventually. Remember that even behind stormy clouds there is a sun.

I hope you feel better, dont give up. :)
