    Anyway I'm 3/4 Irish heritage and SHOULD think the British are at marginally fey. But I've risen above these silly stereotypes.

    French = faggy.

    No, but one of the counties I'm from makes pretty decent beer, while the other makes the best goat cheese in the world.

    We actually do have some good beers here, and I'm not talking about "gross domestic product" like coors or budweiser.

    We have pub brews here just like you do.

    Yeah, honestly... I bet the the U.S. has more good beer than Britain, just because of the hundreds of microbreweries here.

    It might have the micros, but it ain't got the hop varieties we get here in the UK.

    Um, most micros import their hops from Europe.

    Possibly, but even the hops you get in Germany and Belgium does not compare to the stuff grown in the UK. And the quality of the water is also important.

    I've tried some american imports, and they are not the same.

    That's really not an answer to my question.

    Tell me about some good British beer and cheese, because I really cant think of any.

    British? No.

    Irish? Kerrygold or Dubliner cheese and Smithwicks Ale.

    You'll find nothing as close to heaven in England.
