I got 55....mostly Half Life games/purchased mods and such....I have the id Superpack thrown in there somewhere too
A buddy got me Civilization 4 for my birthday a few months ago. It was my first steam game and still is. I'm just a console person (until I do a serious system upgrade sometime next year, anyway).
I got my account banned because I played in a n00b counter-strike server and was lighting people up, and they said I was hacking...
Yeah, yeah I've got the classics - Counter Strike Source; Halflife 2: Deathmatch, and Day of Defeat Source. I play all of the above, ravenously.
oh, trust me it does. 3 days, no sleep; excessive caffeine consumption and lack of cannabis makes for almost ritualistic robot-like gameplay. too much counter strike isn't incredibly healthy for dem brainz or peepers!
never been that way with CS.. definitely WoW though.... after 3 days you're almost completely blind when you look away from the computer screen
a ha!! one reason i leave that soul eating monstrosity of a game THE HELL alone! i've seen too many good men get sucked into the world of warcraft, few of which have ever returned. i've seen vile portrayals of weight gain, bushy beards, incoherent language, radiation poisoning and cistic thrombosis as a direct result of excessive WoW playing. steer well clear unless you want a gigantic nipple on your shoulder and a third eye on your chin.
i can't seem to get steam working; although the only other time this happened was when i installed a new version of ableton live (music production software). i recently stuck fruityloops (other music production software) on my machine and am thinking this could have something to do with it. short of uninstalling all traces of ableton and fruityloops before re-installing steam in the hope that it'll run, i'm stuck for ideas - and realistically i need the music production facilities more than i need to play counter strike... but god, i miss that game.
