need some reccomendations for oberst...

Hey I want to try out some Bright Eyes. But I looked at his catalogue and it's huge, so I was wondering if anyone here could suggest some of his best tracks/albums?

Not a very big fan of Bright Eyes, but his solo stuff sounds like Elliott Smith in a good way. I would recommend checking them out.

As for Bright Eyes, the only album I found enjoyable songs in was "Digital Ash in a Digital Urn".

See, I'm just not a fan of his voice shake. It sounds a little melodramatic to me, but I'm in a minority amongst indie fans for disliking the band. Hope I helped a bit.
