It prevents the reuptake of GABA. Butamic acid. This is a natural chemical process. You've been tricking your brain with chemicals to release more GABA into the neuron to relieve stress. When it becomes habitual, you need more and more of the benzodiazapine to accomplish this effect. It also doesn't happen nearly as much through normal channels. If you keep taking the drug, your simply delaying your pain and not fighting the addiction. Smoking a ciggarette will not give you the chemical you desire. You'll take one soon anyway. Do an exercise. Tire yourself out. This will release butamic acid. After you get done exercising drink one... and I mean one glass of wine, and take a shower. Or keep taking the pills. I'm not your doctor. But my advice is much better for you.
I meant pot, not cigarettes. erghhh xanax is the freaking hardest thing to quit, ever. I need to exercise. I haven't gotten any this whole winter. I am lethargic in the cold.
You need a punching bag and some boxing gloves, one of the best things I ever spent money on...If I am stressed though or what-have-you I go for a walk alone... I never had xanax though...
it's below fucking freezing...this San Diego girl needs a Bikrham's fi she's going to work out in the winter. erhhmmmm *brrrrr*
That sounds like a good idea. I am going to go to the gym this Wednesday (will be int eh area-it's an hour from where we live)...hopefully it's effects will last for awhile
