I just killed a bug in my room

The smell of death instantly permeated everything.

  2. I never kill bugs I find in the house,

I always lead them back outside

Their energy tells me to kill them

We are in ancient conflict, them and I.

    For protection, I do this.
    But cosmic guilt is unforgiving.

    Protection?
    From your own fear?

If I see a bug in the house I will kill it unless someone takes it out for me, though I do not mind them anywhere else.

It depends what sort of bug it is. Cockroaches I generally will destroy with my fist, as well as ants and houseflies. They are all introduced anyway, and have more control over earth than the humans. Spiders and other beneficial bugs I return to the wild.

I'm the same, I always trap them in a glass and put them out in the garden except for today, when a little spider was running along the bottom of the wall, and i knew I wouldnt catch him

I'd seen him a day or two ago and decided there was no way I was going to let him escape for a second time, so I violently crushed him

then instantly felt guilty and regretted it

that was like 8 hours ago and I still feel bad about it :(

That's jacked up. You should have seen some of the things that my friends used to do to frogs and small mammals.

Used to break my heart. People can be unbelievable cruel.
