i brought a dog home

I went out to dinner with my mother and my sister and as I was driving home I saw a sad little white face almost get run over by me.

So I turned around, checked for tags, and put him in my car. He does not have tags but he does have a collar. So he is pacing around my room trying to get up on my bed.

He smells bad and I didn't finish drying him, so I do not want him up here. But I brought in a bed for him and some food and water. In the morning I will make posters and call the vets and what not.

The fireworks scare him, and my dogs are curious. But he is a lovely looking dog. Some sort of setter mix. He's white and regal looking. I've been calling him Gatsby.

 

Take a picture, and post signs around where you found him.

Some poor pup got scared and lost.

The pups family are probably sad :[

 

That's what I intend to do, I'm only taking care of him for the time being, I know I'd want someone to take care of my girls if they found them.

I've already started working on the poster, and tomorrow we're going to call the local vets and whatnot. He's well behaved, and is definately someone's beloved.

For the time being he can hang out with me.

 

yea id try to get him home if at all possible.

my first dog me and my mom rescued. he was abused and we believe his tail was cut off as punishment.

ill be seeing him soon.

there is no way for me to tell where he came from, i found him on a main road. but it's a small enough town that it should be easy to find his family.

 

nah, it's what I would expect of others. He really is a good dog.

Where I live right now there is a pup that my room mate is training,
I love to see them at play, it makes me so happy, haha

i love dogs as well, i've got a greatdane/blue tick hound/pink nose pit mix, her name is sugaree.

oh me too! I mean he's great, but we really couldn't have another. We have two goldens and one shepherd that lives here half the time. But he is sweet. He won't let me leave his side.

if they just give me febreeze we'll call it good. this dog was in the rain way too long.

 

sad, i know you think it got away from owners cause of the fireworks..
If it has no colar tags it might have a RFIDs.. cant tell by looking at it.. but the animal control should have the pet in the database if it does have one.. ..

 

He's got a collar, I think the tags fell off.

I took him for a walk, to try and make him go potty outside instead of my room! And I walked by a party with one of my friends and the people there told me there is a couple house sitting searching for a dog that meets his description.

They didn't answer the door, but I will try again in the morning. He's panting like crazy, but he's had so much to drink and I don't want him to pee on my carpet any more. I really don't know what to do with him. Blar.

Hopefully he will be better by morning.
