dreads comming apart

hey guys
i have had dreads for about a month now and i have had alot of people tell me that my dreads look like they are coming apart
i started with the backcoming method
i dont use wax either
is this normal with new dreads??

 

backcombing falls out, dont worry a bollock about it.

 

i really hope the loose hairs start to knot up and dread cause i dont want loose hairs
but i guess time will tell

 

Put some love in it.

 

Roots and hair positioning need to adjust to their new positioning and at the same time lock. Newly back combed hair has a lot of loose hairs bunched up in knots - and not many of those hairs are ready for knotting - time!

dreads are not going to be nice and neat without as many loose hairs until it's grown for a while.

 

dont worry about it.. you Will grow dreads. keep it clean, and wait. nada mas.

 

my friends are saying the exact same thing about mine, dont listen to them, dont go get them fixed.
just leave them alone man!!
