i started getting a lazy eye from smoking weed. one day when i got high my left eye just wouldnt function till i came down. To this day when i get really messed up my eye acts funny being lazy. But when tripping last night my left eye completlty stopped working. i couldnt move it for the life of me(well barely). my vision was blurred, it was really embarrassing. it hurt also when i would try to focus on something. i couldnt see anything or read for most of the trip and now about 24 hours later my eye still feels weird. its not lazy anymore(atleast not to that extent) but definatly feels as though i dont have as much control over it. any thoughts or suggestions on what to do? have i permanently screwed up my eye?

It's permanent, i think. Sorry mang.

It seems like it might be fixable, maybe just a 'loose wire', or something.

Cannabis and LSD would not do this to you.

It sounds like you have minor nerve damage, or you're just blowing it out of proportion.

^agreed, this is not caused by pot or lsd, but that does not mean it isn't caused by your own mind expecting it.

if you can replicate the condition while not stoned, particularly.

You are probably just "like that" but i understand there are corrective surgeries that can correct people who have a permenant lazy eye, like a birth defect or damage from an accident.

I've had a lazy eye since birth. I've spent enough time with it that I can control it completely. I can look through my left eye, my right eye, or both at the same time.

The way I look at both is to focus my attention on the third eye actually. In the middle of the head, or between the brow. If I feel like I am looking through there, through one eye. Then both eyes automatically align.

Personally I think, it is possible for LSD to do this. Or maybe not? I dunno. For me looking through two eyes is something I learned to do. So if I take a substance I could possibly unlearn it. But like I said, I had a lazy eye since birth, normal people might actually have there eyes wired differently so it would be impossible for them to use them separately. Or it might be that using both eyes is something everyone learns to do at a young age.

ok i dont think it gave me a lazy eye so much as why could i not control it at all under lsd? it wasn't in my head because it severely hurt to move .
