I am currently sprouting 5 seeds and all 5 of them has sprouted. Its the 3rd day. 1. How many days do i keep them in the dark and let them sprout i thought it was about 3-4 days. could they go longer? 2. When should I pot the seeds and should i plant them roots down? 3.How many days should it take for it to sprout out of the soil. I thought it was about 4-6 days after you planted it 4. What is the minimum tempeture for outdoors growth? I thought above freezing was okay 5. What nutrients am i supose to use? What do you prefer? 6. Is it better to plant them in the ground with pulp pots or above the ground just in regular clay pots? 7. How are you suposed to protect you plants from bad weather such as storms and rain? 8. Is it a good idea to water them with rain water that i caught in a bucket? thank you very much

I thought it was about 4-6 days after you planted it?? 4 or so days.. 4. What is the minimum tempeture for outdoors growth? I thought above freezing was okay. soil temps need to be above 55F.. 5. Is it a good idea to water them with rain water that i caught in a bucket?yes and no.. If water comes from a Hot roof bad chemicals in roofing materials can leach into plants.. potted plants harmed by this more likely than ground plants.. Its too early in season to plant for spring outdoors anywhere in the CONUS.
sounds like you need to read up a good bit more before even attempting growing.........not trying to be a dick........but there is plenty of info out there if you just look for it.
Are there any books in particular that you'd recommend? Like, a certain one from Jorge Cervantes or something like that?
