penny or tin whistles

    yeah I have a tin whistle got a couple of books from charity shops for some tunes.Its pretty fun.Just play for fun really but need to work on my timing a little!
    Theres a busker in town that plays near where i live and he has a dog that sleeps when he plays...awwwww !!

    yeah i play, not too well yet but its coming along nicely, its fairly easy haha and the sound is great

    We have a homeless lady that plays in our local town, i often think to myself....'i dont need my ipod anymore, now ur playing all my favourite tunes in the wrong key on your penny whistle'

    Check out the soundtrack from " Return of the King" ( Lord of the rings trilogy)
    Featuring Sir James Gelway.

    This guy makes the penny whistle sound like a million bucks!:cool:

    Thank you! I was wondering who did the wonderful whistle
    tooting for those movies!!! I would love to sound like that!!
    My music teacher says I do but I think she is just being
    sweet and all. I love all your posts! I wish we had buskers
    here more often.

    tin whistles are lovely.
    they arn't that hard to play, i can play a few reels.
