Lily Allen has turned into Penny!

5-8 for a decent album I'll listen to loads, and derive a lot of pleasure from. That's about 3-4 pints down the pub.

In exchange for a copy of an album some artist has spend a lot of effort making, I contribute to them a few quid, about what I used to earn in about 20 minutes.

Seems pretty fair to me, no-one is getting ass fucked.

 

Well, if you can afford it, all power to you.

Considering the amount of music I have, it would cost me thousands upon thousands to purchase it. Fuck that. Hell, fuck wasting a single cent on music. It should be free, in my silly mind. If I like an artist, then I'll buy some merch at a show.

Only thing Apple is good for is getting people to spend a ridiculous amount of money for an only OKAY OS and "neat" design. People who say "Oh but Mac is better if you are using it for art or music production" are kidding themselves. You're one dumb motherfucker if you believe that for a second.

I really like apple's design and everything, they make some cool stuff, but I HATE the employees at the stores and I HATE their hipster fanbase.

As far as iTunes goes, it can suck it hard. I agree, artist's are controlled by labels, most of em get paid for shit when you buy their CDs at BestBuy or a song off iTunes.

Besides, if the artist is in the music scene to get paid, chances are I don't want to listen to them anyways.
