Audial hallucinations- are they unusual?

I have been getting them for awhile, and I can tell they're not coming from the music, cause some sound like an engine, while others sound like machines and such. It's just a string of buzzing that plays in my ears. I enjoy them sometimes, but they can be a bad thing like it's hard to distinguish them from reality.

Could someone give me some more info on these? Like are they bad, could they lead to anything? Should I embrace them?

i love when that happens. i used to get audial hallucinations from weed all the time, but i guess the longer you smoke the less it happens. it's always been really interesting for me, especially when you can't tell if you're actually hearing it or not, i think that's part of the fun

 

LOL one time i smoked this really crazy shit, and i honestly didnt know if i was getting lost in my thoughts or what was going on was actually going on!!! like i didnt know if my reality was just my thoughts or it was actually real... i still dont know what went on, i totlally could of been day dreamin!

 

That happened to me once, I just layed down with my eyes closed, they're were like pictures behind my eyes. Hard to explain. It was the first time I ever hit a bong, but then I got sick D:
What a buzz kill haha.

 

LOL yo my experience also happened from the first time i hit a bong!!!!! and it was soo crazy cuz the bud was really expensive too... so i really got lost in my brain, it felt like i was completely OUT of it, i didnt know what my brain was doin, its like a cassette tape that got fucked up with all the whole track getting all knotted up, you know what i mean? lol

 

Yeah, I hit this 2 foot bong, I even have a picture haha. But I was just sitting there giggling at the pictures behind my eyes, it was so tight, it sounded like trees were coming out of the ground and stuff. Ahh how I wish I could experience that again.

 

I get audio hallucinations that will start getting louder and louder if I am not paying attention to them then once I am finally like "What the hell is so loud?" it stops suddenly. Basically its a slow buildup until it comes into my conscious then goes away.

totally understand where you're comin from.. if there is no music playing from some source.. its usually playing in my head.. like my head is some sort of media player.. packed to the gills with endless amounts of music..

 

It's gotten really easy for me to get closed-eye visuals in the last few months. They're pretty much guaranteed if there's music playing.
Auditory hallucinations are really rare for me. Just last week I had the first ones that I couldn't tell if it was real or not, which were also the first strong ones I've had ever. I was listening to music w/ my headphones on the bus and I stopped the music but it sounded like the song kept going. In the Court of the Crimson King played perfectly in my head for a good 2-3 minutes while I was messing with menus, taking out the headphones and stuff until it got to a part I wasn't familiar with. Then it just started looping random bits I knew from that part of the song and I had to really think about it to realize it wasn't actually playing because it didn't sound quite right. It was weird because the song stopped whenever I took out the headphones, but not when I unplugged them.

 

I believe I've been able to manage that since even before I smoked teh ism.

it's especially easy to do right as you are going to sleep...if you catch yourself at the right spot...stoned or not.

 

Sometimes I hear stuff but not weird noises paranoid noises I guess like ill hear knocking or a car pull up and neither of those things happend once I swore I heard my stepdad yell up the stairs to me and my sister "knock it off!!" It was loud as fuck but my sister didnt hear it so I was like hmmmm.....

Once I ate these mushrooms and I got flashing pictures...(but they felt more like memories) in my head its like they were in the back of my head though and it was the same 2 pictures but they were flashing so fast i couldnt tell what they were. One was like a blue scene one was orange thats all I could really see.
You know that xbox commercial where theyre watching tv and then you look at the back of there head and its like a scene of something it was like that heheh but flashing really fast.....damn I sound nuts.

 

LOL, it's okay. I've never done shrooms, but I hear it's quite frequent people come in contact with older memories. The first one I heard was my dads truck (it's this loud diesel hog ), and they others were like machines tossing packages around, hard to put into words.

Yesterday me and my bro smoked like 4 jays and 5 bowls then i rolled a huge ass joint and we finished half we were both as stoned as we have ever fucking been and we both heard this low far away rumbling. But we were blazed as hell so yea :sifone:

 

i get em a bunch actually. most of the time they are cool and at worst annoying, but sometimes when im trying to go to bed after i just toked and im lying down with nothing else on they can get very loud, as it just builds slowly to this pitch, dies down for a moment than comes back up. normally just putting on some music seems to make them softer at least

 

i definitely dont think mine are normal...its not like i hear music like you guys. Yesterday me and 3 ppl were smoking a fat ass blunt about an hour after we were in the middle of a movie, my hoody was on and i swear the audial hallucinations are so real that i just started bugging out i felt crazy. I was hearing like a broken car in the backround and people snapping there fingers and like wind and shit. At one point it felt like some one was right in back of me and then i heard it so loud, someone just like spit on my head, you know the hhhh flem thing before you spit.
