could anybody help me out by telling me the western equivalents of each of the chinese signs? the chinese zodiac starts with rat and ends with boar.. so typically rat would be aries and boar would be pisces, then you'd just translate each sign in between over, but i have a feeling this is not the real translation, because the characteristics of a rat do not match an aries and so on and so forth
The chinese zodiac does not start with Aries. The Rat is Sagittarius and the Boar is Scorpio. If you use this as your starting point, you will be able to correlate the western sun signs with it's chinese equivalent.
