Lol that link dont work 4 me says out of stock and no info on it. Anyway never mind 4 2plants you need something like 50-70watt hid of sodium or metal halite or even mercury vapour for cfl or tubes ya gonna need 70-100watts of 2000k for blooming and 4000k for vegging although they will do both.
ohh well its a hps 100 watts. i was thinking about using that to flower and a 65 Watt Compact Fluorescent to veg what do u think and should i use the hps to flower and vegg?
Sounds like ya done your homework and will be growing some decent mj in no time to me. although to tell the truth I'm no fan of clf as a main light source the hid's are just so much better but the cfl should do ya well and work nicely.
ohh same here but its the only money i have u kno..... what are ballast and what are they used for?? and i found some 100 watt two packs for like 6.00 bucks.... ok should i buy the hps light bulb? it like 21 bucks... can i bud with cfl white soft or do they have to be heat?? i am been doing a lot of research about 2 months now but i still need to build my grow cab then i am all set to go.... sooo yeah as much help and advice u give meh the more i learn and more learning means more success!!!!!:cheers2:
A ballast is the control gear used to power a high energy discharge light (ie son halite mercury), make sure you buy the rite bulbs 4 the ballast as sodium come in internal and external ignitor, an external ignitor bulb is sometime marked as a self starter leading ya to think it dont need a ballast but it does. if ya still unsure about the ballast then check out sodium/metal halite flood lighting there cheap and a complete unit bulb ballast reflector no hassle plug and grow. You can grow and bloom using one light eighth red 2000k or blue 4000k. Blue will veg nice compact plants but not the best for blooming, red will veg taller plants and is perfect for blooming.
ohh i dont think i am going to buy hps i think i am gunna stay with cfl. i dont want my plants to be tall just about 1 ft is gud for meh because my grow box is small and idk i might put on to it... but i might make a grow cab...? alright in locally where can i get mylar? ik space blanket but no store that ive went to has it? and white paint can i use spray paint or does it have to be like paint paint?
Quite hard to keep mj under a foot (especially seedling) without some serious stressing and trainng which is not good 4 young plants and would'nt advise it 4 a beginner so think ya'd be better off building a box of at least 4 foot tall. Aww not tracked down mylar myself so cant help ya on that one as for paint household gross will do but any white paint thats got a gloss or shine and its fairly hard wearing will do.

That sounds ok if you wanna keep it all small but would stick to indica strains as there a MUCH shorter and easier to grow plant.

I think on paper ya almost there. I've never had any problems getting nirvana seeds to grow and I've done a few packets. Anyway looks like a wise choice that top44 short indica skunk just what your looking for. £18.50 is uk pounds or just slightly less in euro's or about $28-30 us dollas.
That grow cab will be abit small for 2 plants but it is doable.........if ya could id go atleast 4ft tall, 2ft wide, and 2 ft long. Then you can top your plants.........keeping them small and bushing them out........with the room TO bush out. And if ya can you can pick up a 75W HPS Security light at your local lowes or home dePot.....they run anywhere from $55-75 depending on if they are on sale or what time of year you go shopping for them. 1-2 of these would be perfect for a 4ft X 2ft X 2ft. You can veg with these especially if your going to be topping and training them to keep 'em small. If you have to go with cfl due to money issues i wouldn't run anything less than 2 X 26 actual watt blue spectrum and 2 X 42 actual watt red/daylight spectrum for that space.......one more of each spectrum if ya can........can pick up a 3 socket vanity fixture from the stores listed above for like $15-20 then just buy some Y sockets from like walmart this way you can run 6 cfl bulbs off of 3 sockets............all just ideas.....do what you want.......that's just my 2 cents.....
And a mighty fine 2cents it was indeed. Actually hardboard comes in 2x4 foot sheets so quite easy to make a frame and line the outside and have a push on door. 1 bathroom extractor fan in the top and a smaller fan dragging air in. Fit with 100-150watts of son or 150-200watts of clf but think a mix is the best way to go maybe 70watt son and a 100watts of clf blue and swap them for red when blooming.
