This should probably be in the Music Forum but, oh well, I'm too lazy to go over there...

    2. Deja vu by CSNY
    3. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles
    4. Mr. Tambourine Man by the Byrds
    5. Straight Shooter by Bad Company

    Songs
    1. Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann and the Earth Band
    2. Sugar Magnolia by the Grateful Dead

    Songs
    The End - The Doors
Sister Ray - The Velvet Underground
Young Man Blues [Live] - The Who

Ugh, I hate doing this. There are so many albums and songs that I have to leave off. It feels next to impossible to actually pick top 5's, especially since my choices always seem to reflect what I'm listening to at the moment, not what my true favorites are. I'm always changing my mind. Oh well. There's an average list of what I like right now.

They don't suck, but there is much better music. Most people only listen to them becaue they are "hippie music". I only like their 60s jam music.

Also on my favorite songs list, "Tones Of Home", "No Rain", "All That I Need", and a few other Blind Melon songs.

CSNY, Neil Young, The Dead... it's so hard to decide. CSN(Y) still exists... and Neil does too... the dead don't... their concerts are awesome... you people really need to go to one. Stephen Stills plays a lot more slide nowadays due to arthritis...

I love Almost Cut My Hair. I have the album on my phonograph right this very minute and it is BEAUTIFUL. I rented a Neil Youngs Greatest Hits CD (I think it was called Decade) from the library, and it had Needle and the Damage Done. I should probably put that on the my favourite songs list because it is arguably one of the best songs I've listened to in a LONG time.

Hey Mr. Tambourine man play a song for me. I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm goin' to...

I know it's hard, but it entitles you to think and thinking is good.

Heehee...I don't have to go to school today...I'm "sick".

Almost Cut My Hair is one of the most awesome songs ever written. David Crosby is the man/woman (politically correctness). :D

I remembered another that fits into the top category of insane/passionate love for a song.

Queen Jane Approximately - Bob Dylan

How could I let myself forget that one, when it has kept my sanity contained more times than I'd like to admit. I'd have the song sewn onto my heart, if only that weren't so physically impossible. Oooh, how I love that song. It's so, well, perfect! :D

The Byrds did such a kickass version of that song. :) The origanal Dylan one is good too, though. It's gloomier, almost...

I'm not as big of a fan of albums as I am individual songs. So, here's a couple of my favorites.

    Songs
    Hurricane- Bob Dylan
Devil's Advocate (Heaven vs Hell)- DJ Shadow
    High- Stabbing Westward
    Cannon in D- Pachelbel
    Just Like Heaven- The Cure
    Organ Donor- DJ Shadow
    Salsa de noche- Gipsy Kings
    Thrown Away- VAST
    Comfortably Numb- Pink Floyd

And I'm sure this is the same for all of you: this doesn't even scratch the surface of my musical tastes.
