My School+My Town+Police=LAME

Ok lets make this short. Alot of people (including some of my friends and me) go across the street to have a grit after school. Well today I saw my prinsble and a cop coming... So everyone was down there except me (I was walking to the place) So everyone was having there grit, so obviously Im going to warn everyone so Im goin 50, 50, so everyone starts walking away. Then another cop from the school (we have two school cops this year) started walking over. So everyone started booking to peoples houses that lived by. THEN to top it off 3 squad cars came speeding around looking people who are smoking. Luckly I warned everyone in time and everyone got away. The hole point is that this is bullshit that people cant fucking smoke a grit in peace. They had to go out of THEIR way to try and fuck people over. Shouldnt they be protecting us from robbers, rapes and murders? Not trying to get them penny crimes. WTF is this world coming to?

 

They're not going out of their way to fuck you over. They're trying to keep you from making a bad decision at a young age. It's illegal to smoke if you're under 18, y'know.

 

Wow. its illegal? really? are you serious? Bad decions, Its are body. That wasnt the point the point was that they should put there time to solve crimes not bust people for stupid shit.

 

They would rather target people like you, because it's easier and safer for them than actualy doing serious police work, stopping violent dangerous criminals etc.

 

I have no idea what you mean by "its are body." Maybe if you spent more time in school....

So, what you are saying is that they should ignore you, a law breaker, because it is inconvenient for you? They are solving crimes. You and your underage friends are committing a crime, they are there solving it. Don't like it? Don't smoke until you're 18. I love it when people get pissed at cops doing their jobs because they don't want to obey laws.

The fact of the matter is you can't do anything you want with your body. Nor can you pick and choose what laws to abide by. If you don't like them, wait until you're 18 and vote against them.

Ha ha ha! I have only had 1 speeding ticket in my life, and I've never been arrested. Know why? Because I obey laws. If you just wanted people to sympathize with you for breaking laws, then you really ought to mention that in your original post.

Why the hell are you getting mad at the cops? The police force (now pay attention--I learned this in school, but you obviously didn't) are part of the EXECUTIVE branch of government. That means that they enforce the laws, not make the laws. They are only doing their jobs. Now, if you want the law to change, contact your local "legislative worker" (there's another name for this--let's see if you know what it is. )

 

ha!! in canada the legal age to buy cigs is 19, but you can smoke them legally at age 16.

It depends on the state whether or not it is illegal to smoke. In NC here, smoking underage can get you a ticket, but in states like NY, it is only illegal to buy them underage.

But I see what you are saying. Laws are evil. Horrible things. Why, the world would be perfect without them because people are good by nature.

 

Please don't make a mockery of MLK Jr. I somehow doubt he would have supported the rights of children to smoke. The issues he stood for were much more important than that. To use his words in this instance is disrespectful to a man who did great things for many people.

 

People unfortunately are not good by nature, however laws are evil, or at least bad... They are forcing other peoples opinions of what should or should not be allowed on you. If you agree with them, thats fine, I however disagree with many.

You have got to be kidding me. Do you know anything about how laws are made? Laws are made by the people for the people. Why do you think elections are so important? Majority rules. You vote the person into office whom will represent you the best. Those politicians represent what laws YOU want. I'm saddened to hear you don't know/care anything about your government.

If you disagree with the laws, make a difference. Vote.
