How do police officers treat you?

The cops are OK with me (meaning they don't bother me), though I am not OK with them (meaning I don't think very highly of them and their ilk). Since I am a law-abiding citizen, I never have to deal with them. One of them was nice enough to let me go after being pulled over for going 15 mph over the speed limit. This was several years ago. Not all cops are bad, though unfortunately most of them are brainwashed and have a chip on their shoulders. The police force attracts a certain mentality of people I have found -- very similar to the mentality that joins the military.

 

The other day I was talking a walk very very late at night in a very very unsavory part of town --- every time I saw a cop car I took a different turn.

I was pretty damn sure I'd be stopped since I was virtually the only pedestrian in the motherfucker.

 

the first time i was arrested, the cop and i chatted the whole way to the jail. lol. but mostly theyre alright, but ive dealt with some asshole pigs before too.

 

Cops are a cancer IMO.

But theyve never been able to get me.
I like looking em dead in the eye and asking em what it was like for em to be bullied in school.

I cant describe every cop , but the "nicest" one I ever knew , fitted up two innocent guys up for a high profile murder...

 

They turn their heads after me if they're not too busy...

I don't generally invite them into my situations. But when i meet up with them...I treat them with respect because it is much easier than being a dickhead.

I've had enough runins with the po-po in my life to last the rest of my life. biggest lesson was just to be polite.

 

I've never had a bad experience with cops in the U.S. I get to see them a lot because the neighbors always call the cops on me and my friends and parties I go to always get busted... but they are usually pretty chill as long as you show them that you're responsible and don't act like an asshole.

Cops are people, treat them like people. I have gotten away from lots of stuff that I should have been arrested for just because I treated the cops well, joked around, and put out the massive chemical fire as they were coming into the backyard.

 

cops generally like me. I've been 'given a warning' many of the times I've been pulled over, and only got a ticket twice.

However, my first run in with the cops, was when I was 15 or so, and I acted like a complete asshole. I kept making comments like "oh forget about all the crime going on in New Jersey, these kids had a head light out, might as well pull em over and search the car."

Those officers were like "You better tell your friend to shut her mouth before we bring her downtown."

- typical immature behavior on my part. I've grown up a bit, though.

 

I never have any dealings with them.

I've never talked to a cop before, I see them sometimes around school but usually just the car. Only cop I've talked to is my friends mum but I wouldn't count her since she just recently joined. I don't like her though, she doesn't follow the law very well.

 

i live in ohio, although i'm pretty sure that the irish-themed robocops are found worldwide...

 

like i'm a stupid second rate citizen, when i'm alone or with friends, but if i've got my daughter wit me, then they're like fast and easy to get me on my way. fucking bastards!

 

I almost forgot that if it's just me, they leave me alone, but they seem to be attracted to Daniel like flies on shit, and I'm with him more often than I am not, so if I'm with him, I get treated like crap, too. They hate Daniel because he knows the law better than they do. Haha.

 

Cops have always been nice to me but I've seen them do some fucked up shit to black people.
