god is actually finite. nothing infinite could exist, its just illogical. god appears infinite from our little picture perspective, and practically is considering how much available energy there is, but there is still a limit.
Logicality is infinite, it is in every respective second of each day that brains are alive, not to mention trees and other objects that have the logic to be still. What about probability? Does that have any bearing in this illogical discussion?
god is consciousness, the fundamental substance of all there is. evolution is the fundamental process that turned god from a thought barely aware of itself, to an all loving all knowing presence. evolution explores all possibilities and keeps only the things that are profitable to it. consciousness and evolution are the mother and father of all there is. the medium and the dynamics for creating all there is. but even still if there are 3283483438439348349738473474393484302824390484393493487349347843734 different possibilities to explore, even though it is an extremely high number, it is not infinite.
It's strange that even the most esoteric opinions about what God is, are still just opinions. You people need some more acid, until then, hold on tight. As long as you think you have an idea about what God is, you have no fucking idea.
This forum has a purple background. Is this forum purple in essence? One can only ponder over such a mind blowing conundrum. weee.
It's a basic reflex to give extra oxygen to your system periodically and during periods of lower breathing rates, like when you're tired.
hmm. About the infinite thing. Numbers can go from infinitely small to infinitely big. Atoms can be split and split and is there really a such thing as a smallest particle? Our technology and perception can only go so far - it's neverending. And RELAYER, I assume you've taken some big doses, so... here's how I would define god - the force that is all around us, behind everything, that we are all a part of that for whatever reason makes perfect sense and is somehow "the goal" of life - an "it" - the "it" - that's always been and always will - before we were born and after we die - the ultimate that must be experienced to be understood... I'm obviously missing a lot, and I know it's indescribable, but... thoughts/insights from your experiences?
dreaming is like getting messages from our higher self. if we pay close attention to our dreams they can help us make decisions in our waking lives. they give us clues that help point us in the right direction. dreaming can be the gateway into your higher consciousness. what happens in the dream world may be realer than you think.
you know what's funny? I don't have nightmares either. But that is because what I would previously consider nightmares, aren't scary anymore. I don't resist what I used to. I think that's why the nightmares have disappeared
It could also just be psychological detritus brought about by regulated and normal eletrical activity in the brain designed to conserve energy and let the host body rest. What's great is that whichever one it is (probably neither! probably both! probably something we won't know for 10,000 years!), dreaming is still cool.
well i believe some of what happens in the dream world is actually on another plane and some is just your imagination. it all depends on where your subconscious wants to take you. my mother used to astral travel every night in her dreams. as for nightmares, these are the fears that haunt our subconscious, we must learn to overcome these fears. like you guys i have not had a nightmare since i was a little kid, i learned i had to face my fears a long time ago. now that im older, and especially since psychedelics have shown me the nature of reality, i fear nothing, there is nothing to be afraid of, but fear itself. just like good ol teddy roosevelt said.
