So, as far as hashish goes in my area (UK), "soap" looking bars are pretty much the only thing that floats about. I've been a smoker for going on eleven years now and I can consistantly say that it is the only common thing going about. It is possible to get green, people do sell it. But if I had to scale it up against the hash, I'd say the common high is only maybe a quater greater than it (if I had to describe it; it misses that tiny little feeling that makes you know it's green). It's sometimes a lot more efficiant for people around me to buy hash, as it still gets you stoned, but lasts you a lot, lot longer. My reason for coming here was to learn a little about soap and how I can spot stuff that's actually, not too bad. My choices with my options are exactly like I discribe. I really would like to smoke green all the time, but I actually love hash too. I want the best of both worlds, but while green is the better option, the number of hash doors is far greater and I actually love the stuff. If I discribe some different kinds of hash that i've had recently, could someone comment on them? I've seen a lot of pictures but can't always put it to what I'm getting. 1. One dealer moved out and onother moved in, since then this paticular spot has fallen hard. The lump is dark, hard and hardly smells at all. I have no idea how it's been cut (cut as in sliced, not mixed), but it always seems to have darkenings on it. Also, a lot of the time it looks like there are both convex and concave markings, as if it's either been about to explode, or collapse. Dispite that last fact, the lump is still solid. High was acceptable, it got me stoned enough to get me through the day without throwing it out(I've been smoking for ten years), but it wasn't anything special. I got a huge lump, half ounce plus for £20. 2. Blatant hash, dark on the outside, golden brown and dark brown in the middle. I done a little test on this one that failed with the previous stuff, I ran my finger across the lump and I could easilly smell it on, yeah my finger. No signs of plastic, very strong smell, can't distinguish whether it smells of oil or not (could be due to shipment). It's very soft to burn, it's not sticky like good hash, but it does have moisture when you crumble it. High was very nice actually, I didn't expect it. I got a £10 lump (from a £50 ounce if calculated, not a £10 quater) so it was acceptably small, I'm hoping due to quality (but you can never tell, he might just be a tight arse). Can provide LQ pics... 3. Like above but a bit larger (£10 quater) and with pieces of PLASTIC!!! Anyway, this as good as it gets for me when concerning hash... Any opinions are appreciated!
The trouble with soap bar is coz your smoking it all the time you cant taste or smell the rubbish in it coz it killing ya taste buds, try smoking the green for a week and then standing behind some1 smoking soap bar your start to smell burning plastic sugar paper. Good hash should catch light quick with just a few passes of the flame and burn to a fine white ash. After burning and grumpling the little bits left between your fingers should'nt set hard but be soft or spongy.
A lot of dealers call their soap 'pollen' so you might just end up shooting yourself in the foot. Take a trip to Amsterdam and then you'll learn how to identify good quality hash.
Change ya dealer get in with the old school they know where it at. Proper hash still about from time to time but its very much a closed shop and you really gotta be in the know and be prepared to pay the price 100-120 an oz. Last year I was smoking pollens soft black and even leb showed it face mmm my favourite. Agree i love hash but even the black i can get aint a patch on the temple ball, gold or red seal we used to get here.
