this one is just retarded.. he is however convinced his left hind leg is possessed with a evil spirit... stupid fucking dog.. oh beyond the lovely gift dragonfly left us with we have a great Pyrenees and a german shepard/lab/pit mix thats like 15 years old now.. damn thing just wont die..lol
kosmic and zoomie, you're both exactly right. i've heard too many stories of puppy mills and purebred dogs with breed problems (yet another argument against breeding) that i just won't go there. i see so many hungry dogs beside the road that i personally just can't feel good about supporting breeding. and a friend of mine was a kennel worker at a shelter and she told me that dogs were euthanized if the simplest problem was discovered, like mange, because that particular shelter was so overfilled and underfunded. i wish we did try to actually match dogs with people who were right for them, but i guess the overcrowding is so bad that they just need to get them relocated.
I will donate my dog to your pack, but I want to keep her legs so you can just have the rest of her. I will give you a skateboard to put her on though.
This is the best news ever, especially the skateboard part cause me and my new dog can cruise the street, her on a skateboard and me on my bike...
yes he is fine, they have even had the muzzle on him a couple times for trimmings so while he isnt beauty shop groomed he aint dread locked either.. stupid fucking dog....
You've obviously never groomed dogs for a living. They are nasty little fuckers, and as HHB pointed out, ya just gotta muzzle 'em from the git. And they're prone to diseases because they are inbred and overbred. They have eye, ear and skin problems. The last one I had was on Prednisone for the last 7 years of her life. That's some expensive shit. I prefer a dog that you just feed clip its nails once a week and take to the vet once a year, not once a month.
ITA. I learned that from my parents pure bred shih tzu and Maltese - skin, eye, breathing, & ear problems ,ugh. -- and then there was the grooming needs of the little bastards! The inbred freaking maltese had all sorts of temperament issues, too. .. and yet, I still loved the damn little dogs. I did learn I would never want to go through all that with a dog again , though.
