Can you play the blues without a soul?

Music IS the rythm of life and I can't think of ANY rythm I would rather live to.

The blues is the most enfluential type of music ever invented. It's not just a type of music. It's a lifestyle. Nothing and I repeat, NOTHING is more emotional and self-expressing than the awsome string-bending soul-showing make-a-grown-man-cry kind of spirit. I believe that if a group of people are REALLY listening to a peice of blues music all their souls are bound together by the spirit of the blues all their heartbeats are combined into the heartbeat of the all-powerful music of the blues.

I dont think blues was invented it was stumbled upon. The way your fingers move around on the guitar when you're feeling down just create it.
